Be good to hear more about the M250 as so many of us put deposits down. Never knew why it never made production. Could be argued we got the Evora instead (a car I'm proud to own btw) but M250 really seemed to catch people's imagination back in the day. While we're at it why was there no open top Evora?
Hi DrPittenstein, Yes, lovely looking car but I can assure you it would have been a nightmare to maintain! The Evora was much better thought out and I will be doing a feature on the Evora in the future that may answer your question.
I was the very proud owner of a 2010 NA Evora that was replaced with a brand new fire red, Evora 410 Sport, in 2018. WHAT A CAR THAT IS! Would be interested in your views on the Evora 410 Sport. I'm also an equally proud owner of a "skipton" as you called it, or a Type 116 NA! It's almost 20 years old now but with a few choice upgrades (harness, supercharger, upgraded chassis brace and tie rod ends, etc) that make it a really enjoyable and fun track car. It can't be that bad a car as last week in 5 days it did 900 miles commuting between home and 3 different UK tracks which it was thrashed around. It never missed beat and got me round the tracks and back home, stress free, worry free and safely! Loving the videos. Great idea. Looking forward to future instalments. Nice one!
Hi Andy, Yes, agree the Evora is a much underrated car. Its amazing how tough and reliable Lotus cars and I include the VX220 in this are actually! I will be doing a feature on the Evora in the future.
Was very tempted to give you a thumbs down for putting your kitkats in the fridge. 😁 keep up the great work. Would love to hear more anecdotes about G ESPRITS and M100’s please
Hi Justin, Call me weird if you like but I do love chocolate from the fridge! yep, a series on the X180 Esprit and m100 Elan are in the pipeline. Thanks for watching 😊

thanks for the shout out bud. SID looks awesome, you got any more pictures of it?
No worries mate, there is stuff on the Internet about SID but shame it was just left outside to rot when the project finished. 😢
