As a big fan of bullet, this style requires all the factors you listed, reasonable speed (m1), observation, and timing. If you can find a pattern your opponent has (even though some are harder to realize there's almost always some sort of pattern), you can start landing those thunderbolt m2s like crazy. But if you cant figure out the timing or pattern to fit your m2s, you will fall behind in damage. The anime and manga of (bullet vs ippo) literally shows a good strategy to follow: use m1s to find your opponent's pattern or draw them into one, and when you finally get a hold of that, start using your m2s.

I'm the counter king. The way to counter people is to set up a rhythm, once you get your opponent into your rhythm then you can figure out exactly when they are about to attack. People fall into a rhythm subconsciously, and you gotta take advantage of it.
There is a really cool trick that will help Bullet lands M2 (counter dmg). By perfect dodging, then immediately dash left or right, whatever make you closer to your opponent. Ideally the opposite side of you recent PD. If you pd right, dash left and throw another M2. Since people tends to dash away after being PD'd. You would not only be guaranteed to get a M2 in, but counter even. p/s : i use this alot. p/s #2 : You might even get in your opponent's way, blocking them as they are dodging away, which is gonna open up for you for another M1 (M2 if you like the risk) p/s #3 : this apply to any style lol. except slugger though. maybe. p/s #4 : yea this apply to slugger too but has low chance lmao
To be honest, I like counterstyles because I have to study each opponent, figure out how to deceive him. Playing with these styles requires understanding the opponent so that you learn his habits and patterns. Moreover, most of the counterstyles have HUGE damage on counters. High risk - high reward
Legit, i like hearing counter sfx and even base my style only for counters. I try to learn the habits of my enemy mid round to find a way to counter them. I even predict when the will do it mostly and overall COUNTER IS THE BEST FEELING
As a somewhat skilled bullet main, i gotta say once you get the timing and little tactics the enemy likes to use constantly, you can pretty much melt his hp with counter m2. My favorite tactic is landing a some m1s then waiting a moment to them to dash and attack before they eat the m2, it works most of the time but it's obvious less likely to work on skilled opponents or noobs that like to punch rather than dodging Another thing, the game knowledge is 100% needed if you wanna play counters, knowing which style is more likely to punch faster than you or just really on m1 rathen than m2 to attack is SUPER important. That's why is so hard to counter m2 hitman cause they rely most of the time in range, so this is only effective if you close the distance and wait for them to dodge or attack.
Another tip is just play aggressive if your fighting a passive player, if you can't land counters, just go aggressive, it's better than waiting for a passive player to punch.
Bullets M1 is meant to go through guard not break it, to hit them when they think you’re done M1-ing. Bullet weaker dodge generally puts you in a range where the M2 will clip your opponent chin if they choose to attack-which is perfect. Chronos is the weakest counter style, and they take the worst counter damage. I believe it’s only 6 Bullet M2 counter to leave Chronos counting to 10.
Reason: What do you see more often? People emoting while losing or while winning? I saw a lot of freshman getting eaten alive by a random 4k ko dude and they always emote like crazy midfight
great ways to land counter that i find:kept some stamina (about half bar) after m1 string, walk back a little (just for your stamina to regen) and immediately m1.u can do this 2-3 times i. a row and your opponent falls for it a lot if they don’t learn
Tip number 3# (might also be useful for counter styles) move backwards after landing your combo on your opp, basically after landing all your combo like m1 m1 m1 then m2 move back you'll make your opponent m1 thinking they can reach you but they won't making they're hitbox bigger and they can't run or block after that so after they tried to attack u with an m1 thinking they can reach you use your own m1 since counter styles m1s are fast making you land more combos and getting your stamina back after walking back, but this will work 50% of the time but if u good ping then I'll be a 90%
Jwordz: Countering is easier than perfect dodging Also Jwords: goes into extreme detail on how much harder countering is than perfect dodging with counters you have to pray to GOD that you memorized someone's pattern correctly and or that they just don't play passive but with perfect dodging you just go either left or right and press space as soon as you see a highlight
As a bullet main with diamond III and about 1.1k knockdowns Experience is key, you can pull a m1 in the start after a short m1 chain to see how your opponent would react, then streamline your opponent to do the same action over and over. That way it would be easier to predict ypur opponent’s actions . usually after 1-2 m2 counters they would switch up, predict that switch and land even more m2 and m1 counters
A tip: when the opponent always tries to dodge after he defends your heavy attack, do it again for him to defend and wait for the exact moment when he dodges to make a counter attack.
Landing counters will DEFINITIELY deal mental damage to your opponents. As a counter main, there have been countless times that an opponent left the match on me because they got annoyed at how many counters I was landing on them. Sometimes, they call me a "spammer" for continuous counters in a single match. It's both hilarious and disappointing to see it, since the match isn't completed and I get less rewards and seeing how small minded people are just because they lost.
3:21 all of this are true tbh since when i fough a kimura user i was getting cooked until i start landing counters he started playing worse and worse until i 3.1d him beating your apponents mentality with those counter
I mean in short counter type styles HEAVILY rely on your opponent's gameplay and it also relies on your intuition and observation skills. Confidence is a good start but then again confidence doesn't always mean you know your opponent's behavior. but, when you know how your opponent acts (passive/aggressive) you'd be confident enough to throw counters. Thats a tip from me
I started to play with Bullet last week, just to differ my way of playing and man, im not the best counter in the game by a hundred miles, but predicting a m1 after dodge and then landing a m2 is soo satisfactory. It's funny when people can't understand your attack patterns and just try to spam dodge, after the match they just say "spam m2", it's a good feeling you know?
Countering is pretty easy in general, It’s mostly just prediction dependent for me. Best way to land counters consistently is making the enemy much more aggressive and daring, which leaves them open.
I feel like that guy meant that counters depend on your luck or smth like that cuz imagine you throw an m2 and your opponent tries to attack, he gets countered, i think he meant something like that
surprised you didnt mention dash reading as a free counter tool. either read ur opponent's dash into a dash + m1 for free, or if it's a infighter style, read your opponent's double or single dash with a early m2 so they cant m1.
When countering an out boxer or hitman, don't be scared to be aggressive be on their face like an infighter and most of the hitman user when you dash in front of them they will immediately attack so try to perfect dodge that.
Tip for player who are using eather one of the counter style in the video always take the gamble like it's either you get counter or opponent get counter and be unpredictable like throwing m1 or m2 out of no where and try to be a little bit agressive
Counter main here with 427 knockdowns on it, The easiest type of player to counter are prediction dodgers since all they do is dodge first before even doing an m1 or m2 so u just have to bait their dash then counter them. Even if they double dash, it's the same outcome so its better to be a reaction dodger. I also suggest being aggressive and always get in front of their face.
Buff bullet, you (probably) remember me commenting one time. I don't have discord, but I think it would be best if you either buff m1s, fix the passive, or revert the passive to being instant after a dodge.
@@asol1690 that’s not true that’s just hitting your opponent randomly and this really shows ur lack of skill, countering is about baiting reading and punishing. Pding is about reaction. Ur wrong kid
Me personally as a counter puncher is try letting your enemy follow you in that case you should back dash after a m1 then wait until they try to follow you and start punishing them oh and use your m2 more thats all
I find Hands Low to be the best Counter type style. Even if you don’t land much counters, Hands Low at least have way better dashes for perfect dodges and his attacks are faster and has longer range than Counter who has the lowest range in the entire game.
will never understand why the game reads a counter as an attack BEFORE their attack, when counters r usually a quick blow AFTER the opponents attack in boxing
I use chronos mainly and the special skill gets filled a lot counters is just basically assuming what your opponent is going to do that’s why i treat my m1 as a faster m2 Edit/tip: also test your range when hitting ppl(especially when they are attacking) if you do that you’ll find it way easier to land hits and also get counters you can test this by hitting an m1 that’s barely or sometimes out of reach another tip is randomly use front dash doing this can in fact dodge they’re attack and you can attack first I’m pretty sure
I use hand low as in-fighter type style cuz it end up make people confuse and the m1 can low the block insanely well, the m2 are really fast which can catch people off guard and with feint it feel like use hawk when i use this style as in-fighter, You should try it.

No need I waw first and I said w
you're my inspiration to play that game and got more better
Counter playstyle is one of the best in the game
tbh, the way i learned how to counter is using counter, u need to counter to do any dmg, so i highly recommend counter for learning counters
Hello there fellow counter main
I fucking love this video give this guy a billion subs
This man reveals my secrets once again 😭
Buff bullet, you (probably) remember me commenting one time.
I don't have discord, but I think it would be best if you either buff m1s, fix the passive, or revert the passive to being instant after a dodge.
nah i'm the opposite of counter, i get counter more.
Yes i use iron fist.

Proud bullet main here
One thing that helped me counter punch is cod , if your a mobile user use codm
Imagine thinking counters are random 🗿🗿🗿
I mean even u weren't trying to counter you'd still get em while pding is much more skill based
@@asol1690 that’s not true that’s just hitting your opponent randomly and this really shows ur lack of skill, countering is about baiting reading and punishing. Pding is about reaction. Ur wrong kid
@@Chadcatcommenter I'm saying countering takes lesser skill than pd because you'll land counters no matter what even though ur not trying
@@Chadcatcommenter while pding won't work when ur spamming dash
@@Chadcatcommenter u and I both play Roblox buddy u ain't calling me kid💀
They need to add a 3 min timer or sum, i was literally fighting the most passive player ive ever seen in ranked. I legit fought him for 10 minutes.
Me personally as a counter puncher is try letting your enemy follow you in that case you should back dash after a m1 then wait until they try to follow you and start punishing them oh and use your m2 more thats all
i actually just main counter last week, and man oh man, the counter dmg is so satisfying, got the title in less than 2 days because it's so enjoyable 😂
hawk is, because it has more counter damage and it can perfect dodge really easily and on ecstasy you can counter easily
counterers don't just predict the opponents moves, they provoke them.
It’s not a good day without watching a Jwordz video
The ultimate tip
Keep calm
I find Hands Low to be the best Counter type style. Even if you don’t land much counters, Hands Low at least have way better dashes for perfect dodges and his attacks are faster and has longer range than Counter who has the lowest range in the entire game.
@@wolfbattleblade1153 Gets countered by Counter tbh
Hands Low's the best counter style yet gets countered by Counter
How to use ghost
will never understand why the game reads a counter as an attack BEFORE their attack, when counters r usually a quick blow AFTER the opponents attack in boxing
I use chronos mainly and the special skill gets filled a lot counters is just basically assuming what your opponent is going to do that’s why i treat my m1 as a faster m2
Edit/tip: also test your range when hitting ppl(especially when they are attacking) if you do that you’ll find it way easier to land hits and also get counters you can test this by hitting an m1 that’s barely or sometimes out of reach another tip is randomly use front dash doing this can in fact dodge they’re attack and you can attack first I’m pretty sure
Tip if your opponent dashes towards you use m2 but you gotta be precise
I use hand low as in-fighter type style cuz it end up make people confuse and the m1 can low the block insanely well, the m2 are really fast which can catch people off guard and with feint it feel like use hawk when i use this style as in-fighter, You should try it.
I just started watching ur vids where u troll toxics and other stuff I would love to play one day with u
