Hey, it's me, BJMashPotato. I had no idea this video existed until my friend sent it to me earlier today. I was a runner early in the game's lifespan, but I was nowhere close to consistently running it. I did a few runs, tried to glitch hunt, but by that point, I was kind of just idle in the community. Big shoutouts need to go to Snolid and Ziro though, they found a hell of a lot of glitches to be able to get the times down as far as they were before the out of bounds stuff was discovered. This was a great video, and I'm definitely gonna sub
One of the best Lego games I've played. The fan service was nice, and the roster nice and large. They even got some people to reprise their roles from the movies, including some from other Pixar movies. The only strange thing is that they make you play through Incredibles 2 before playing through the first one.
It's the only LEGO game to have an actual day and night cycle. I also love that Mr Incredible wasn't just a minifig or a bigfig and that TT Fusion chose a unique sculpt for him. Also cool to have cars that can swim Crime Waves are a feature which should be in more games. Skywalker Saga wouldve benefitted from some like this since its massive open world can feel empty post campaign But the biggest thing that brings it down is that it relied on a property which doesn't have a ton of lore. The Incredibles only has two movies, a 15 issue comic and a TV show special. The best LEGO adaptations are ones that mix in multiple movies like LOTR, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Pirates of The Caribbean so cause of that the game feels short which I personally don't mind but can see why it turns off people. It also doesn't help that Incredibles itself has a lot of moments where characters are by themselves so the game has to lessen character arcs and themes just so certain moments could work gameplay wise This same issue also extends to the roster. TT Fusion did a smart job including the Supers who were shown in flashbacks or those who died by the Omnidroid's hands but outside that and the Pixar cast most of the roster are either variations of the same person (Each version of the Incredibles, Edna, etc didn't need to be seperate slots), OCs created for the game (Brainfreezer and Anchor Man have cool designs tho) or filler (Random police officer, pilot, etc). Also the character roster is missing some Supers from the films like Blitzerman Nomanisan Island not being explorable is disappointing. I was expecting it to be a third hub area. Heck could've had combat arenas take place there Also the combat whilst more fluid than some past LEGO games doesn't reach its potential. It's like babies first free-flowing combat game but without counter attacks or animation variety that defines a good free-flowing system. Also unlike past LEGO games characters can't use their abilities when flying which is just stupid to me
Some QOL changes would've made the game more tolerable to some First start off with the first movie lmao. Unlike LEGO Avengers where Avengers 1 has a boring start so it makes more sense to start with the more action packed film. Incredibles has no excuse cause the first movie literally has action scenes in the first half of the movie. Whilst this wouldn't fix the short runtime. At least it would make it feel cohesive. Heck could have even gone more into the life of the characters before the events of the first movie if Pixar was willing to allow that As for the roster fix I'd make so you unlock 2 characters per Pixar film (Maybe Woody and Buzz/Zurg for Toy Story, Hector and Miguel for Coco, etc), add in the missing Supers like Blitzerman, Shock and Awe, etc and incorporate characters from the comics and shorts (They're even referenced) cause they have some villains and heroes which would've been better slots than random police officers. There's even a villain in the comics who was a scrapped villain for one of the movies Also just add in areas like Nomanisan Island. Main city is quite small to explore anyways with flying vehicles so this would've been cool. More interiors outside the Parr luxury house and Edna's home would suffice As for combat. First I'd add a counter button (TT Fusion added it to one of their games so only makes sense to use it). I'd also focus more on the team up aspects too. Having stuff like Mr Incredible throwing another character into enemies, the Incrediball or a character aiding Helen is cool and all but more could be done with this. Taking a cue from LEGO Avengers and LMSH 2 is a great start Lastly flying characters should be able to do combat in air. Past LEGO games didn't have this issue so why did Incredibles create a problem that was never there Overall I do enjoy this game and whilst it's far from being one of the greatest LEGO games, it's features like the Crime waves, Day Night Cycle and Pixar characters make it fun to revisit. Maybe the game would've fared better if it was just a LEGO Pixar game.
Watching the whole video with some sort of grand prize in mind to find out it was originally only 50 dollars was kind of funny to me. I love how passionate the speedrunning community is and how that little incentive can go such a long way
I feel like it usually just depends on whether or not there's some kind of launch glitch, and whether or not there's a trigger for the final level that you can access early.
This game was pretty fun, though my favorite Lego game will always be lms 1 because of various things like the mechanic where getting gold bricks unlocks short levels
Hi, my name is Tarantulip. But I used to go by the name of ThatToffee. Prior to March, I actually was the primary glitch hunter. I discovered throw clip and basically all the tricks in the run, including the Dash clipping and most applications of throw clip. I dumped so many hours into this game and it hurts getting no acknowledgement for it. Glitch Hunters deserve acknowledgement just as much as the runners setting records I’m aware you can’t do anything about this specific instance now, but in the future please do what you can to credit the people making these speedruns possible behind the scenes. Whoever they may be
cool vid. Maybe there is a cool video about how runners broke LCU any% with propably the biggest sequence break in LEGO Game history, shaving off a good 3hrs
Lego Incredibles was great, I hadn’t played a Lego game since 2010 with the generally story focused, highly linear Lego games so the open world was well… *incredible*, and I’m a sucker for anything monsters inc.
9:52 there' s a problem the lego dc super villains and marvel super heroes where developed by main tt games team lego increadibles was developed by they minior studio tt fusion (that ones who also made lego city undercover)
I have never played Lego Incredibles so am *very* confused how 1-1 was the unseen thing the family did between Incredibles 1 and 2 and the final level was the stuff that happened.. at the end of 1.. that canonically takes place before level 1-1.. Where tf is Incredibles 2 in all of this?!
This game starts with Incredibles 2, and, after beating all of that, you do Incredibles 1. It isn’t like the Star Wars games where you pick the order you do the movies in; you have to do 2 first. (2 begins immediately after the Underminer shows up at the end of 1.) It kinda makes sense for marketing purposes, since they probably assumed that people would buy this while hyped for 2, which was new at the time, and would thus want to get right to that, but it’s still weird, especially nowadays.
Its very simple to understand. You first play through the story of Incredibles 2, and when you complete the 6 chapters levels you are then able to play through the first Incredibles movie.
You clip into the over world in lego marvel superheroes 2 after the first level by going to the place where you call Nick fury then go back to the other room and switch characters to someone who can fly who is where you call Nick fury
Thanks for watching! No video next week, as i have 26 hours of footage to scrub through. See you on April Fools!
Okay I believe you *wink*
@@SnappitySnap777 Count me in so I'm gonna *wink*
Bro I literally just found and opened this video on April Fools Day lmao

I wonder how some games are so easy to break, but others are basically impossible.
I feel like it usually just depends on whether or not there's some kind of launch glitch, and whether or not there's a trigger for the final level that you can access early.
I think it’s based off of how broken the code is
Depends on game engine. Certain game engines are just prone to glitches, others arent.
Coding that’s literally it different companies different codes
@@RollingPapersEXE I'm talking abt different games from the same company's. >_>
such an INCREDIBLE video!

I loved this game, it’s not that long but the 100% and achievements are fun
I am the world record holder for lego Star Wars the complete saga on PS4 (all level runs) and Tfresh was my unofficial mentor lol
Hoping we will see more videos with hidtory of speed running lego games
You gotta do a few top 10s of ur personal favourite Lego stuff from the games
Cool video. I assume speedrunners already know the building trick to get out of bounds on the hub world for Lego Marvel Super-Heroes 2?
Now we need the LEGO ninjago movie game to resurge

9:52 hobbit is also in a similar situation
You remind of summoning salt lol
Yoo you made the video before I finished my 1st run I bet it's gonna be a banger
Yes I was waiting for a new one‼️🔥🔥
Good video bro!
Babe wake up new BD1P Video
LEGO Incredibles were the first game ever I 100%ed
Are there any important skips in lego hp 5-7? What makes that run so short?
a really big sequence break that takes you from the first year to the last, i’ll get to that game eventually :p
Siedemnastek to GOAT z Polski🇵🇱
thank you for this video

bd1p u like cshr??? thats awesome
As of the video upload ALL Lego games on steam are 60- 80% off so they are dirt cheap and if you wanna start I recommend doing it NOW.
Thats a weird Isaac mod😳
I still need to to 2 overworld races because they are unfair. Then ill have 100%
what game was that with Lego sully
still the incredibles, they have a bunch of PIXAR fan service throughout the game including some playable characters like sully
so good 🔥🔥🔥
the guy siedemnastek just read it as seventeen/seventeenth as its how it translates into english
So why were 3.0 engine games in specific neglected? Did it have anything to do with the engine or was that just coincidence...?
Just very slow, lots of camera pans, cutscenes, and in general just slower and longer games
This game was pretty mid, but fun
Is the speedrun console exclusive or
Is it possible to do this on Nintendo 😊
id totally speedrun this if it wasnt 60 us dollars for a lego game XD
This one keeps getting sales on the Switch eshop, taking it down to $10 whenever I check.
@Husker NTT95 I don't own a switch plus I don't need one
The most modern games would have all the glitches patched though?
TT games doesn’t really patch their games pre skywalker saga
this game got its last patch in 2018
