Lieutenant-General Javed Nasir is a Pakistani retired engineering officer who served as the Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and remembered as first General having full grown beard. General Javed Nasir was appointed ISI Chief by PM Nawaz Sharif during his 1st tenure. General Javed Nasir defied the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations on Bosnia and successfully airlifted the Pakistan's sophisticated anti-tank guided missiles, which helped them turn the tide in favor of Bosnian Muslims. Known for being member of Tablighi Jamaat, Gen Javed Nasir gained national prominence as his role of bringing the Afghan Mujahideen to agree to the power-sharing formula to form Afghan administration under President Mojaddedi in Afghanistan in 1992-93.Here Bilal Ghauri narrates his life story. Without listening to the vlog, I wonder what these Generals hv done to the country. Where the country stands right now, at the verge of collapse, decay in every field with a threat of existential of the country. In comparison our Neighbor India has almost became a super power. For God sake don’t glorify these Generals. They hv only enriched themselves and their families. The country doesn’t need these Generals but selfless leaders to get the country on its feet, bring prosperity to the common people, end injustices and raise the standard of living across the population.
