As a German, I follow the news around the world and in different languages.
For months and years, I've asked myself how Republicans can sacrifice their dignity. They worship this Trump and build a monument to him right next to A. Lincoln. (not meant literally)
but today I saw true patriots. Whatever they sacrificed to speak there, they regained their dignity. That is the difference, in my opinion, between patriots and fascists. They Worship not to a man, they worship to Law and Order. That is the Spirit of Lincoln. If I understood your history corekt. Speak like Churchill, stand like Lincoln.
As a Pole, I can only agree. It is bitterly ironic that the deepest essence and meaning of the founding act of the USA by Washington was against tyranny - and today so many millions want to vote for tyranny...

@@herlandercarvalho for those of us on the ground, not tuned into mainstream media, 2016 had a lot less vociferous support for Clinton, and at no point did it truly seem inevitable. news anchors and pundits were the only ones of that mindset. there was surely excitement for her, but pretty much only with suburban women. a LOT of people did not like her. after Bernie lost his bid, a lot of people were enraptured by the energy of change that trump was bringing to the table. I personally know 20+ people who were Bernie supporters who either gave up or voted for Trump (these were all either conservative-leaning voters or first-time voters) because they saw Clinton as fake, like the "been there done that" candidate. this time around, Harris and the Dems have that change energy. no, nothing is a shoe-in. no, this won't be as easy as, say, 2008 was. and yes, we definitely can't take an early lead for granted. but this race is the Dems' to lose at this point, which surely was not the way it felt in 2016. remember, even lichtman said that Trump had the keys...

@@Mystic480 It doesn't have to be though. It's very possible to be in favor of smaller government, cutting taxes, and a more secure border without resorting to hate and fear-mongering. The GOP actually learned that lesson after losing to Obama in 2012. They made a post-mortem report on that election and concluded that they needed to be more inclusive and increase the size of their tent, but then 4 years later Trump happened and they haven't looked back since.

Kamala Harris has a very high staff turnover due to a toxic work environment, Washington Post a very very liberal paper said that. It is all over the net, do a little search.
Some of people working for DT has been staying with him since he started his company and are still there in the Trump Organization to this day, Even Barbara Corcoran has high praises for him as she has known him as early as the 90s, they even sued each other, she says he was ruthless in business, but was well respected and really well liked.
