Hallmark of Liverpool’s improvement this season will be visiting Old Trafford, Goodison, Emirates, Bridge & WHL and beating most of these teams. Only 1 win last season from those visits, whilst City won 4 of those trips.

It's interesting to hear Carra speak about his retirement. I wish he had not, and stayed another year, somehow I feel like having him in the dressing room would have helped that defense and they may have let in fewer goals than they did. He was playing right before he retired, and granted he probably couldn't have played another 38 game season, but he could have done a job for Brandon Rogers, and all they needed was 1 draw to be a victory (13-14 season.)
Stan, Carra made 737 appearances for the Reds. 508 is the number of league appearances. Don't think Carra minded but accuracy is polite. Good interview mate

We draw too many games, which if we were clinical in those games ie the Leicester game the league title would be at anfield that’s my personal opinion Johnny.
In hindsight, hmmm 7 points ahead... Yes we drew too many, err I.e one less draw, that would of won us the league! But it didn't by one point painful but proud to take a team like city to the wire. Through sheer will guys and a smidgen more experience (6 times) we might have [once again] a chance to be League Champions Once again.
@@trevorbenjamin8690 the 2009 year that was more the case maybe. I still believe if Liverpool kept Crouch that year we could have turned a few draws to wins. Especially against the deep defensive line's we faced that year. Last season was simply just two great teams going for the league and somebody had to come second.
