If you have asthma, check if you breath through your mouth?
If so start breathing through your nose.
Stop mouth breathing and taking oxygen into your upper lung area.
Breathing through your nose and into the belly is the natural way we are mean`t to breath. Babies breath that way. We take in 20% more oxygen that way and it calm`s the nervous system.
The air is filtered through our noses and warmed before it reaches the lungs which stops irritation in the lungs.
Nearly 90% of asthma sufferer`s are mouth breathers.
I have recently discovered this after suffering with asthma for 27 years, 3 days of breathing through my nose and my asthma symptoms are going away, it feel`s amazing!
It will take some time for the lungs to heal, but all wheezing has stopped.
In a sitting position you can breath in and out of your nose.
Doing more strenuous exercise you can breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

I just put some milk in my coffee, which is a habit. But from now on, I'll try not to consume any dairy to see the effects. My asthma came back after 25 years, after my doctor thought it was a good thing to inject me with corticosteroids to release the pain in my back. I've used asthma medication for the simptoms, just a few months, but now I don't need it anymore. I do breathing sessions everyday for 5 months now. Which opened up my chest, so I can breath more deeply now, less shallow and feel like I have more energy.

It was a really nice and informative video. I am Dr Kanchan from BIBO. I would like to add a few more points that may help to reduce asthma symptoms-
Inhaling peppermint oil may help to reduce the feeling of shortness of breath. It also helps to reduce inflammation (swelling) in the airways.
It is also good to keep a note of what is triggering asthma in a person, as not everyone has the same triggering factor. For people who have allergic asthma, it is good to get an allergy test done.

Try this free pranayam for asthma, cold, etc.
Hold first nostril and inhale from the other, and then hold the second nostril and exhale from the first making a sound(which is little similar to that of a tiger roar, like mrrrr) from your throat. This melts the mucus away and will work magic.

Zero citrus fruits and veggies also cut down melon and gourd family veggies and fruits ..zero sugar zero dairy ...add more tiurmeric 1 gram per day and pepper (very little 1 pinch ) ..keep cotton in the ears or cover the ears ..wear socks in day time ..these prevent catching cold damp warm cloth on chest ..check.room.for mold and moisture. If so add sambarani in the house ..check vit.D levels else make sure to sit in sun...Mullein tea 10 ml a day very effective. .give ajwain +old jaggery laddu 2 times a day (pea nut size ) .if still persistent check with a best homeopathy Dr..
