The Dramatics were my all time favorite group. I saw them every year they came to Houston for years in a row. Last time I saw them was in 2009 on my birthday and a few months later Ron Banks passed away...I was devastated! Still love their music!!! No one did it better than the DRAMATICS!
Ron was truly the leader of The Dramatics. And without his stabilizing influence , the remaining members Willie Ford and L.J. Reynolds have , sadly , gone their separate ways, each leading two different groups of Dramatics.
So many Soulful ones we met personally or thru music die so "early" to us. We need to appreciate each other more NOW, no matter what we do for a living.
