Correct me if wrong: There is no wood between the neck and neck pickup cavity. If so, this WILL cause the neck to shift over time and slide into the pickup cavity, crushing the neck pickup unless you "modify" it somehow. I had an old Arbor Explorer copy that was the same and did this. Too bad because it otherwise looks like a really nice little budget guitar. If I had one of these I would definitely be rigging some sort of metal "L" bracket or some other "stop" device in there. PS: It sounds like you learned "SCoM" from some online tabs, LOL! I swear those things are always wrong. Also Glarry has a new model GLP101 that appears to be done correctly, as far as the neck pocket anyway.
sweet guitar bro! i found a "semi gloss sunset" model on ebay for like 110bux! new! wonder how this would sound with humbucker sized p90s.......guess theres only one way to find out haha! ill have to hit that "buy it now" button!
I have the same guitar and found that the buttons are not snug on the tuner shaft. The diameter is a little bigger. I just changed the tuner buttons and that fixed the issue. No more play in the tuning machine.

Used strats, $399 etc. Found cheap imitation guitars and started looking at options on the internet. Almost every yt Donner reviewer really liked the Donner guitars. Thumbs up Donner! 🥳📻📣
