First things first; this is a massive rebuild. The best thing of that, is that this rebuild has only just began.
You can't expect from a team in a rebuild to perform each and every match.
Second, as far as I know ten Hag had a game plan. But when the team falls apart as quick as Manchester United did, you can have any plan and throw it in to the bin.
Third, the plan never works when players let you down. You can't put up a plan against that. You can not!
The last thing than, as I have said before, ten Hag probably had the plan like against Dortmund with Ajax. His plan probably was to keep them in the midfield and hit the Manchester City side with pace in attack. Pep probably saw that coming and had his plans for it. And it worked....

In terms of style of play it's the same. I'd argue that the team never looked as good it did the first half against cp under rangnick. Everything after that is exactly what we got now, inconsistent, deep defending counter attack football. Ole's DNA won't leave this club for a while.

He's shut him down before, so Pep had Haaland dropping deep to get on the ball, drifting out wide to either side at times. That's what Liverpool does with Firmino and it drives center backs crazy while exploiting the overloaded fullbacks. It simply worked to perfection and Haaland dropped off the radar and by the time they got a blip the ball's in the back of the net.

I know they are better than us but ETH has to take the blame...Poor lineup no tactics...I don't understand how every manager is making the same mistakes

Casemiro should definitely start over McT. There's no doubt that Casemiro is a much better player. In FM terms Casemiro is about a 4 and a half star player. McTominay is about a 3 star

Marks Remarks were completely over the top and unhelpful. Saying everyone was crap and that’s the end of it was not accurate and doesn’t recognise the progress made. Just sounded childish to react like this and to say he would get rid of Bruno was ludicrous. To lecture us about not picking out mctominay was the height of Hypocracy. Hard to take him seriously after this. Ericsson was not crap and neither was Anthony. We lost it in midfield and failed to press like we did against Liverpool. What has he got against Bruno?

United fans need to understand they are in the transition phase like Arsenal 2-3 Years ago They just can't blame Maguire in everything
