A dive along the Erme Dropoff

This dive followed part of the prehistoric river bed of the Erme. In glacial times the sea had retreated, so this bed would have been part of the river drainage system over the lands of southern Devon. Today, these lands have been flooded by the English Channel as the Ice Age retreated but divers can still see the fossilised remains of the riverbed. Depth about 22m.
