Better contact your file manager, not surprisingly, they lost their files from time to time, also unless you bother them, they wouldn't move. Believe or not, recruiters sitting in the center, not professional at all. I would call him or her till got your medical scheduled, if nothin' happened, tell them if i can talk to your Sgt. or MWO, I just want to drop off my file if anything heard in a matter of a month. then they will do sth for you.

Not trying to make you upset when I say this, but you are going to wait A LOT longer then you should, especially for reserves. I've been enrolled since early February and have had two BMQs cancelled... because of minimum funds and short staff. The hiring process was mostly a joke except for my FORCE test. Its a disgrace.

@ yes, they get care but there is no duty to provide that care and whatever that care is, it is at the generosity of the government. There is no guarantee or obligation to compensate you for those injuries and they have been reducing and making the benefits restrictive for years.
The care you receive is also dependant on your ability to work and not all veterans are disabled. There are degrees, but our most disabled veterans are the most disadvantaged in the system and can’t fight for them selves.

Sooo many reasons on why men won't join the Canadian military anymore

    • @Darius-uj1gv
      @Darius-uj1gv 16 дней назад +11

The phrase "Sooo many reasons on why men won't join the Canadian military anymore" contains several errors in word choice, syntax, and style. Here’s a breakdown of each issue:
      Use of "on":
The word "on" is incorrect here because it is not the appropriate preposition for introducing reasons. In English, "reasons" are typically followed by the preposition "for," as in "reasons for why." Alternatively, the phrase can be simplified by omitting the preposition entirely, saying simply "reasons why." The expression "reasons on why" is a result of unnecessary wordiness and incorrect collocation (the habitual pairing of words in natural language).
Correction: "Sooo many reasons why men won’t join the Canadian military anymore" or "Sooo many reasons for men not joining the Canadian military anymore."
      Stylistic and Spelling Issues:
"Sooo": The elongated "Sooo" is an informal spelling and is generally only used in casual online communication or to emphasize tone in a non-standard way. For formal or neutral writing, stick to "So."
"won’t": Although "won’t" is grammatically correct, in a formal context, "will not" might be preferred for clarity and to maintain a more polished tone.
"anymore": The use of "anymore" here is correct if the intent is to imply that men previously joined the military at higher rates, but no longer do. However, this phrasing might sound slightly awkward depending on context. An alternative could be "today" or "nowadays" if referring to a current trend rather than a stark cutoff.
      Suggested Rewrites:
More formal version: "There are many reasons why men no longer join the Canadian military."
Casual but polished version: "There are so many reasons why men aren’t joining the Canadian military anymore."
Each correction improves the clarity and flow of the sentence and eliminates unnecessary words.

CFB Esquimalt has single quarters and they kick members out on the street where rent is starting at 2k+ for single room apartments. PMQ rent is based on the local economy and being in one disqualifies you from CFD which does not take in to account the price of gas, food, and other daily expenses. From coast to coast the infrastructure is a mess. If we tried putting refugees in the buildings our members work and live in Canada would be tried with crimes against humanity. The is not a problem Trudeau created. This is a problem created from decades of neglect. It is just whenever the Liberals take power they do spend more money, it's that they misspend it on stupid Liberal polices that does nothing for the operational fitness of the CAF.

As an applicant who was born in another country there was an 18 month wait between my physical and background check. By the time the check was performed I'd have to go through another physical. That's a huge problem. The private sector can get it done in 6 weeks. What's the holdup? In the end I just gave up. Not worth waiting a couple of years to get into bootcamp.

Royal Marines are a top-notch force, but I'd choose the USMC between the too. From what I see, the UK military is nearly as problematic at our own.

They don't pay remotely enough to live where the bases are located. We have hundreds of service members living in actual tents.
They turn down fully qualified applicants for the most ridiculous reasons after wasting months of their time
There is nowhere remotely enough equipment to do the job.
Bullying is very real, and sexual assaults not rare.
Very little support for those injured while serving.

I got declined for using an inhaler (I can still do the physical activity). My brother is still waiting on a medical to be scheduled (5 months into the process) Still keep getting told "3 more weeks" IF we can even get ahold of the recruitment offices lmfao. They need to remove some restrictions and make the recruiting process easier.

You need to be a transwoman or woman to be in Canadian military now. Even if you aren't you will be seen as one. That is the level of force/strength the Canadian military exudes lately.
Who wants to be a part of that.

Use the South Korean or the Israili model. A basic military training for kids, may be highschool kids. Many will appreciate the military service. This will transform Canada, just like how it transform S Korea. There will be solidarity, and a sense of love for the country. Discipline on the canadian population, a sense of belongingness.
