We sang this at girls camp and at the part where it says,"We are as the Army of Helaman......" altogether, I stood up and then everyone else started standing up with me! It was SO amazing! I cried SO hard! I felt the spirit SO strong! BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I LOVED my first year of girls camp! :) Go if you get the chance! it is SO worth it! :')

Ian C I'm pansexual. I disagree with a great number of the fundamental teachings of the Church. I can't go to church without feeling extremely argumentative or like I'm being attacked or like I'm being judged. That said, I will always love the Church and all the good it has done for me. I just accept that I truly do not belong there.
Also, I went to EFY five years in a row and got accepted by BYU Provo and Idaho.

Xspose Gawd what about Biblical Christianity. There are so many things that do not correlate between the Mormon scripture and the Bible, such as Jesus and Satan being brothers or us ruling our own planets when we die or celestial procreation.

Ivan your questions are actually easily answered. Granted it comes from interpretation, but here is where we get our beliefs from on your examples of differences.
Jesus and Satan being brothers:
The angels which kept not their first estate, he hath reserved in everlasting chains, Jude 1:6.
The Devil and his angels were cast out, Rev. 12:9.
We believe that God created all of our spirits, including Satan's, and we lived with God before coming to this earth. We are spiritual brothers and sisters. The first estate is being willing to follow God's plan in the pre-earth life. Since Satan and his followers didn't they were cast out of heaven. That is why we believe Christ and Satan are brothers. Heavenly Father created their spirits, but Satan was cast out of heaven.
Your last two examples are deep questions, but it boils down to one simple answer. Do you believe that Joseph Smith restored the church of Christ? If the answer is yes, then you believe that every president of the Church of Jesus Christ is a prophet of God. President Lorenzo Snow said "As man now is, God once was; as God now is, man may be”. Joseph Smith stated: "‘Brother Snow, that is a true gospel doctrine, and it is a revelation from God to you."
In short, if you believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God who brought back Christ's church, then you believe the words of President Snow that we can become like God. Which is to continue to procreate and rule worlds as God does.

GUYS: i don't think you understand how spiritual this song is to us yw. This is the one time we know you will sing even if you dont enjoy singing because its so powerful. every time it gets to your part the girls all look around with huge smiles on their faces because it is literally THAT amazing. This song is just...perfect.

I just got back from FSY a few days ago, sang this song a lot there,this song invites the spirit into my heart, this song is so beautiful❤
I started crying when my group was singing it at FSY this year. Its so gorgeous and hearing a thousand people singing it together is an incredible experience. I was trying to sing along but i was kinda just standing there crying and I just couldnt get the words out.😂❤
We sang this at a friend's funeral, a few months back now. Absolutely beautiful. This was her favourite track, and I know she enjoyed it as we sang for her. RIP.

I was searching for a song welcoming the many different faces to a banquet. Came across this beautiful song until to realize this beautiful song excluded many daughters of God . But I know; it wasn't intentional. O Praise THE LORD He doesn't see us; the way we see us. Yet as many who will be One.
i don't know if you committed to going back to church, but if you haven't please don't forget the feeling that you felt that day, it wasn't a coincidence, it wasn't worldly. A song of the righteous is a prayer unto God, and he always answers the prayers of those wanting to come to him don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I know that i'm some random person on the internet, but i am a person, i don't know you but i care for you. I know how the church changes lives for the better.

I recently got my mission call to Belem, Brazil, and was also just recently thinking about EFY. I went for 5 years, and will still miss it. I felt the Spirit so strongly that I can't deny the truthfulness of the Gospel. I urge everyone that can go to EFY to go as often as possible, and to go with the right attitude. I promise that if you do, you'll learn something new that will be a benefit to your life. Act on what you learn, and make a change in your life, and you will be closer to Christ

Way back in 1999 when I went to EFY I met Michael Hicks. He was a very nice young man. He was one of the counslors that year.

I just came back from fsy and I can say that this last week was truly the best one of my life.
My company was great. We were all friends and cared for each other and we all hugged and cried together on the last 2 days.
I'm also proud to say that as a very socially anxious person I was able to share my testimony in front of a group of people on my own without any help.
I cant wait till we get to go again in a couple years with my brother :)

I sung this at EFY and I cry almost every time I hear it. I feel the spirit so strongly when I hear or sing this. That feeling of warmth and safety is how I know with absolute surety that this gospel is true.

This is so how we are. :) I'm getting baptized soon and can go to EFY with my twin she's been a member of the church since she was born. But since I was new to the church 3 years ago people have been so kind and generous they understand my history and respect it. I love LDS with all my heart. -3
We sang this on trek on our last day and just about everyone was crying because how strong the spirit was. It's definitely a feeling you can't even begin to describe. That feeling amongst my testimony is the reason I am Mormon. I'll never forget that amazing experience.

I was just looking through my trek booklet saw this song and needed to hear it. When everyone sang it at trek in that moment it was like choir of angels! I remember how you could see everyone being moved by the spirit 🥹🥲

I just got home from EFY and it was the most powerful experience of my life i can confidently say that this is the only true church on the earth and I love it. There is no way I would feel this way if it was not true. My counselor said "its true is int it so what else matters"

I have no idea what anyone else goes through in their own life, but I do know trial and tribulation. I could write a book on my own life's trials. I'm not sure why I feel so prompted to give to you this quote, but I've learned that when I feel a prompting that I need to act on it. The quote is about forgiveness. Again, I have no idea whatsoever, your challenges, but I hope this will bring comfort and peace to you today.

I sung this song today at fsy and the spirit was top 5 strongest I've ever felt it was amazing
Funny story, sang this for the first time in '99. Loved it. EFY changed my perspective and brought me back to the church. Then in France in '01, on my mission we sang it again. Got home, got married fairly quickly because it was right (met her after the mission in a singles ward and still married 20 years later.) We moved into her grandparents basement. My first hometeaching assignment was to Michael R. Hicks. Needless to say, I was starstruck. We're not in that ward anymore, but in the stake just north of it. Still see him every once in a while and pass his house taking my kids to school.
Mark my words in the last days the sisters in church will prove to be a major power in missionary work

This is entire church is joy. It strives towards a purpose. I don't think Mormons consist of just ten million people who are dumb. Mormons are the smartest and happiest people I know. I can bear my testimony that I know we wouldn't even have this huge organization if there wasn't a common goal of eternal life to strive for. I know this church is true. If you really try to open your heart, you will find that God is real and he loves all of us.
efy is the closest thing i know to a heaven on earth. there isnt one day that goes by were i dont think of that week and wish i could be back there again
I couldn't afford to go to efy this year. The strength of the Spirit and power of singing with hundreds of youth behind me. Might be the thing I miss most of efy. The bond that you can make with your company and the Lord in the week is astonishing. My first time going to efy I was 14 and during this song was the answer to my prayers. During this song is when I realized the church is true and the first time in my life I fully felt the spirit.

Dude. For once I'd like to look at some nice comments without there always being this one guy who has to make his little remarks. It always follows when someone says that the Church or the Book of Mormon is true. Do you know the mind of God? Do you know how He will choose to do His work here on Earth? Just because you don't believe it doesn't mean it is not true and don't start bringing up questionable evidence from questionable sources and wasting my time, I've seen it all and I'm still here. I ended up singing this song combo with my church during camp, and I had started crying when I had more friends then I realized, this song made me feel closer to all of them even when I wont be able to see them physically. I can feel them emotionally through this song.

I may not be any perfect, but, I thank our Heavenly Parents for restoring the Gospel back on earth for the redeeming of the dead, we need them and they need us. Im a member of (The of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints). Im still striving to better my self each and every day and thank our Heavenly Parents for sending their oldest Son Jesus Christ, our oldest brother to redeem us, and also thanking God the Holy Ghost for manifesting the truth to me and us all who r now members of the church.

The women in the Church plays an important part. Without them we would have no priesthood that is what I was always taught after I joined the Church. It is all true.
