Just as the other viewers have noted, I'll say the same: Bravo, outstanding dedication getting out there in those conditions, to make videos we can safely watch in the comfort of our warm homes. I appreciate what you've done here!
@@SD457500 and he was flying.. I've got my gear with me today heading into Seattle Might see if there is any action while I'm there. Caught a couple Ferromex units pulling a load last trip.
We just got a bunch of GP60M units for the locals around my parts. They are phasing out the GP38 series and I believe 39s as well but you can't beat the old 38-2s. They pull the grade out of town with ease with a GP60B in the middle running 3 60s up the grade has shown too much HP on wet rails and they have powered out many times, backing thru town and taking a notch 8 run at it some night. Lol. Just not used to hearing Road K3LAs blasting tbrubtown so used to the old Air Chime on the 38s.
Many thanks; I love going out in that type of weather and getting footage like this. Makes it all the while when one can watch it later from a warmer spot.
Another great video - thanks SD457500. Hey you may already be onto it but wanted to give you a heads up that a Progress Rail/Caterpillar demo paint job SD70 is in our general area. (Is there just the one yellow, white, and black SD70?) It passed my house going east last Saturday with a CP freight consist, and then I saw it again last night on my way home from work just before I got home, heading back upriver (westbound). It was tail end Charlie and facing backwards, so maybe it will head back my way. I guess right now it could be anywhere in Minnesota or even the Dakotas or Canada, but wanted to give you heads up at least. So when it went by my house the first time on Saturday I had my camera ready by the door to the deck as always and even had my UHF scanner on, but I was vacuuming and didn't hear anything until I looked up and saw it go by through the window. I was so appreciative to see it but so angry that I decided to vacuum at that time of all times. Grrrr! Hope I get another shot at it!!
OK a quick correction - I think it was not the original demo engine - it was one of their lease fleet locomotives. Just did some homework and I didn't realize they produced a small fleet of lease locos similar to, but with a little different paint job than the demo.
I appreciate the kind words on the video, and the heads up on the SD70ACe-T4 demo units. They are on lease to CP, and rumor is that they are testing them to see how they perform.

I love the winter trains.
Thank you for the kind words. I do as well; it is neat to see them fighting the elements.
UP running with one ditch light out. Why am I not surprised?
Yeah...and it stayed like that for another week or so at that! Thanks for watching!
This is a superb video with amazing winter scenes. Thanks for going out in this harsh weather. Hope you were able to get home safely into the warm
I appreciate the kind words on this video! I made it home alright, but after shooting the last scene I called it quits. It was nearly a whiteout.
You went out in a blizzard to catch trains, amazing dedication!
Thank you for the comment, and kind words! I hope you enjoyed the video!
Holy cow! Nice 3 way meet between 3 different railroads.
Glad you enjoyed it! I didn't even see the TC&W until the BNSF job was pulling out. The timing was spot on...

@@danielhildebrand6892 Good luck! Maybe some GP60s on the BNSF too?

I don't see any deers there😁😁😁 BTW you are doing great today, even at your high risk like the snowstorm.
Thank you for the kind words! So far all is well; I actually hope we get another large snowstorm so I can go shoot more footage in it.
Excellent video I enjoyed watching it and admire your enthusiasm to railfan in a blizzard.😀😀🇬🇧🚂👍
Thank you very much! It was pretty dicey in some spots, especially in that last scene where it was nearly blinding conditions.

@@SD457500 OK gotcha - thanks for that.
Most the DPU BNSF
Correct; there seems to be a decent amount of BNSF DPUs on the trains these days. Thanks for watching!
