What're your personal thoughts about homosexuality?

Well, If I got to make the rules, I wouldn't have a problem with it... but sense I have to play by God's rules, I can't support it because I see the Bible writers speak against it.
It was forbidden in the Old Testament, and while modern Christians don't follow the law given to the Israelites, I think it does give us insight into God's heart on the issue.
In the New Testament, Romans 1 seems to be the clearest passage that directly addresses the issue, specifically verses 26-27. Those verses condemn it as a departure from God.
I've read several books suggesting alternative interpretations of Romans 1, but I've not found their interpretations rationally compelling.
Jesus didn't directly address the issue, but Jesus directly commissioned Paul and Paul's writings were directed by the Holy Spirit, so obviously Jesus would have affirmed anything Paul wrote.
I know it isn't popular, but that is my understanding of God's view.
Side Note: I just found your RUclips channel this morning. Sorry to hear about your struggle with agoraphobia. I prayed for you this morning :)

As much as it would be ideal to not be involved in any ungodliness, we being human will never live up to the law. God accepts our imperfections and that is why he gave use jesus. To complete the law and to create a new path back to the father through grace. If we were perfect currently we would not profess the need for his grace. Just my two cents. ❤❤❤

@@2BeLikeChristso God hates me because I’m not attracted to men? When He made me? How come some of the other rules aren’t practiced anymore but homosexuality is where people draw the line? But people still eat bloody steak? He blesses me tremendously but since I’m a homosexual, He shouldn’t bless me? He really hates me? Even though He made me? Should I stop reading the Bible? Since I’ll be shun away?

@@essencebrown6046 Homosexuality is a sin like others. If you are christian you have to repent from it. I will not be easy, but with the help of god it is possible [13] No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
