My care giver told me she never knew how much time and work went into making things like these until she got to watch me make them. On my latest project I have to line up teabag strings as my background. It’s very slow work and it’s fun to line the strings up just right and carefully trim the edges to make a nice edge. The more time spent, the better things look and when you mentioned rushing? When I do I can tell. So I make myself slow down. The fun part is getting it just right as I do things in stages. My eyes hurt after ten strings. But they’re as straight as can be.
There is no greater happiness than spending time slowly. I think this is directly connected to creating great works. your work is always great.
