If your drives are short. On higher speeds, it will switch to gas. For me that travels 300km in a day in highway, petrol costs will cover the payment for the car. On the other hand, battery will degrade faster. You can't have it all 😂
All of this Technology but yet the US Infrastructure is not up par to hand EV’s. Only design for City driving! Take the car in a Rural town good luck on charging! Something people don’t use their brains on!
If the charging infrastructure gets better in rural areas in my state, I'm all over this.

I was looking at getting one but in aus they are 99k for base model i Can buy a full spec tesla model Y and still have 30k left over
Correct. Same in UAE. 110K+ dollars. Even TeslaY is overpriced and less effective in this summer. Their full glass roof doesn't help either.
