Whoah, thanks for uploading, I have been searching for this video for 15 years :D Any clips from Good Charlotte? I also believe there's a video of Benji playing with Rancid in 2002 but I haven't been able to find that.
Pretty sure it was during this year that they weren't able to make it to the Toronto date. Standing there in the front row so excited, see the drum tech or someone come up to the mic and say "We're so sorry but MEST won't was not able to make it. We've got Simple Plan (who were headlining later that day) here to play for you instead!" I know it was nice of Pierre and the guys to come out and fill the slot last minute for the crowd, but man I've never seen a more sour reaction from a crowd lol. People were so mad throwing shit on stage, I had to get out of there so I didn't get pummeled with flying shoes 😆 And MEST never came to Toronto again afaik lol
