Very unexpected for you to talk about a new TCG from Japan, and about VTubers! That being said, while the game does try to be different (kudos to making the resources their own deck), what now matters is if it can survive the 2-Year Curse.
@valutaatoaofunknownelement197 I don't talk about it much, but it is one of my hobbies, and made sense to me to make, since I already do card game related stuff on my channel. Plus, I wanted the fans to get as much info as possible, since when I saw the announcement I noticed that it was all in Japanese and a lot was left out. Thankfully, they have since added proper English subtitles to their preview video.
It will have zero issue surviving the 2-year curse, even if the actual game itself sucks. If you're not familiar with Hololive and VTubers in general, as long as the card art is good, they'll have fans rabidly collecting regardless. It's gotten so huge these past few years that cashing in on the regained popularity of TCGs that Pokemon, One Piece, and even Digimon, have been causing, was a no-brainer. I feel like it's going to see a similar effect that caused One Piece to succeed so well--a mix of TCG players looking for a new game + people that don't care about card games, but just want to collect things from the IP. It's probably going to be this but on a bit smaller scale. Hoping it's actually fun to play though.
If your opponent picks up a prize card when they take damage or when their units are knocked out tells me that its more in-tune with Duel Masters than Pokemon with some of Pokemon's elements mixed in. Because Duel Masters has ya pick up prize cards when ya take damage or when a unit gets defeated.
We don't know right now. If you want to see some unofficial translations, you can check out the discord in the pinned comment. They have the cards and rules fully translated, and even 2 simulators to play the game in.
@@NecromancyForKids the collab zone feels strange to me bcuz i know it's really based on Pokémon so this feels like an extra momentary attacker but it does the same thing in the end, i Guess it's due to the resource sistem and in other games You would have a support zone where your passive characters do something or well have more than one active attacker

4:15 the Graduation Zone 🎓
it's like Pokemon but you don't have to worry about energy,
also you get to play two cards two attack instead of one

@@WeebHutJr A reasonable assumption to make. I honestly didn't consider how marketable the art would be, given the popularity of various VTubers.
Epic :)
I did notice one mistake I made. I wrote "ES Oshi Skill" instead of "SP Oshi Skill" but at least the idea gets across.

I cant seem to find a release date for english trnaslated cards. Any idea when they might produce them for US

Any idea what are the sizes of these cards?
@oreoos5256 The site says that the sleeves are 92×67mm. I can't see any info on the size of the cards themselves, though.
They should be Standard Size, from what we've seen
I feel this is too close to Pokémon with just some tweaks. I hope it doesnt die in two years.
It seems like an interesting variation that actually tries to solve some of the issues in other games, but we'll have to wait and see.

IDC about getting the others I only want to make a Sora deck
@@ralphso5567 That is fair enough. Everyone has their favorites.
This didn't feel like pokemon to me. It more felt like vanguard/one piece collab
I've played vanguard and pokemon. This definitely shares more similarities to pokemon than vanguard.
