I didn't expect CS chinese crowd to be SO good! because in Moba Games Tournament they are the most Boring, 3x Boring than CS Brazil crowd.
Chinese are such calm and composed people that I dont think anyone expected what a great crowd they would be. They showed that they have passion in their hearts and they enjoy this game so bad. this is something beautiful. I felt chills as if I was watching one of the best CSGO tournaments. I love these people! ❤

The crowd is fantastic. Interesting to see the Chinese versions of skins being played with on the big stage.
There might be empty seats, but man that crowd is amazing. Electric at the perfect times, and absolutely no bias.
For IEM playoffs there's usually empty seats for quarter finals but the stadium's filled when it's semi or grand finals
Still though it's insane that even with only half attendance so far the crowd still makes it feel like a Major, Shanghai is gonna go crazy

donk's the better rifler, for sure. I think m0nesy's a better player overall because he's just more flexible and independent, but you really cannot deny how destructive donk can get and how consistent he is with the rifles.
In the GOAT discussion, I think m0nesy's definitely the top candidate when it comes to the post-s1mple era of CS. He doesn't even feel like he was ever a rookie, with the way that he's respected both within and outside of the team. Hearing G2's comms where m0nesy seems to be the most active and assertive voice aside from HooXi makes him so much more impressive since most young players still subconsciously hold back when talking to senior team members. Props to G2 too for creating an environment where m0nesy's actually comfortable doing that; I'm not sure if the credit goes to XTQZZ, Aleksi, Swani or if m0nesy really just knows how valuable his insight is, but those aspects of G2 I think are severely underrated and rarely ever discussed.

Vp sucks ass, and always sucked. But for some unknown reason anaylsists and casters put VP as a roster who can compete vs top tier opponents. They haven't won anything other than a fluke major (proven by their embarrassing performance in the very next one), Jame's style has never changed from what I can see, these slow default style 20 seconds rush maybe worked back in online era but nobodys reimagining themselves. I think Jame is out of it as an igl. Could keep Jame put him as an star awper and get a new igl. I really think Jame is a fantastic awper, he just doesn't take chances, maybe if hes let out of his igl role he can actually play more fearlessly.
As a SEA fan, can confirm: being able to watch games in the middle of the day and not at 3am is also sick. Shanghai Major gotta give good playoff games tho 🙏
Will be funny that the Shanghai crowd will be by far the best because China is in a position to not care about the political side of thing and boo any Russians team while also not completely biased for their own scene like Brazil since Chinese team are tier 2 team at best

@@sentryion3106 I can really feel how passionate the Chinese CS crowd is, but my only issue is that they feel somewhat one-sided in certain matchups (like this one). Even with the Paris and Copenhagen majors, it's obvious who the crowd favorites are, but they don't get as quiet as the Chinese crowd when the non-faves win a round. I think I honestly prefer some slight, sportsmanlike boo-ing than just complete silence lmao.
Agreed with your thoughts on VP. They're strong enough players individually to be on tier 1, but they're definitely on the lower end. Jame does need to give up either the AWPer or the IGL role since those two just don't mix well. FalleN's the only one who ever managed to pull it off on such a high level, but considering how different CS has become since then and how much more valuable the AWP is with the MR12 format, AWPing IGL just does not fit in today's CS.
I think their best move right now is to just shake it up and either have someone else AWP so that Jame can focus on IGL-ing while still being a secondary AWP option, or have someone else take over IGL-ing. Replacing a player doesn't really seem all that viable to me if they wanna keep the full-Russian/CIS roster since I can't even think of a decent CIS IGL nowadays.
So disappointing being a VP fan now vs the OG days. Started with that awful logo change

@@EthanM167 yes it does matter. just because they won doesnt mean it was a good play. if he keeps making the same mistake there will come a time when it costs you a game or even a tournament. you must learn from your mistakes, if you dont it costs you, maybe not immediately but surely.
Eh. Sometimes it's better to risk it and fuel the flames when you feel like you're heating up. Plus, he was already going to peek out of the smoke just before HooXi died, so it's not like he could immediately react to HooXi calling that the plant was cancelled and that there's no time.
The Aleksi clutch on Anubis was also not his fault tbh. He was low and bomb was already planted for him and huNter at connector. With their positioning at the time, double-peeking/trading isn't really that good of an option since Aleksi knew that NiKo was low hp and connector's a tight chokepoint that they can easily get sprayed from.
It was mostly huNter's fault because he didn't play for time properly. The sequence iirc went like this:
Aleksi taps the bomb > huNter reacts with a flash to bait Aleksi away from the defuse in case he was sticking it, and shoulderpeeks once to make sure > Aleksi pre-fires and sprays at huNter's location > huNter repeeks and dies.
I seriously don't know why huNter decided to repeek that when he already had confirmation that Aleksi was off the bomb 2-3 seconds after the tap. He also could've already made a safe bet that Aleksi didn't have util anymore since it would be logical to use it after killing NiKo, and the bomb was already more than halfway to explosion. It was a complete misplay by huNter, NiKo simply wanted to keep some pressure up on Aleksi to waste more time and set up huNter for the rest of what would've been an easy 1v1 postplant.
Saying that Niko should hide is like saying to Kobe or Steph to stick to dunking/ layups or saying to monesy he should stick to rifle. Sure they could do that but doing what everyone else should is not what makes them great
@@mark030531 nah dude he is a pro and he was seeing from heaven that the bomb holder has dies he didn’t need info from hooxi so he could’ve easily hided,and about aleksib they only needed to keep hiding,aleksi knows nothing about them,he could’ve done a quick peek just to check if he’s defusing or faking,didn’t need to wide peek at all,but his ego didn’t allow him,same goes to hunter unfortunately
