So I experimented with a few other things with this video, and I ask you lovely viewers for feedback. I made this experiment video mostly because I haven't had time to write a proper mapping theory video, but hopefully my next video will be mapping theory. That said, do you like these sort of experiment and break the game type videos? Would you like to see more? I also added some background music to this video since 90% of it would be just me talking otherwise. Do you prefer the background music or should I just cut that? Thanks for watching.
Smaulelele someone with a powerful pc *could* technically put the map on no fail with all the hard mods enabled and click a few times to get a lot of pp
Just have a constellation of satellites with wacom pens orbiting in opposite directions, flying over a tablet, then idk use a thousand people with a thousand keyboards to click enough :D
it should be 2,147,483,647 but we wouldn't be able to see it since the score gained from clicking a circle at that combo is higher than 7 million and yes, i've calculated it
Yeah, presumably it overflows, but osu! doesn't really render the minus sign, so it seems like the score is going down. Either that, or each circle gives so much score due to the combo that it in itself causes the overflow to happen over and over. However, the first option seems much more likely.
How to play: 1)Become Billionare 2)Create connecting monitors big enough to see noted offscreen 3)Break the mouse sensitivity, make sure it moves so fast at 1 millimeter that it'll make it exactly to the offscreen notes 4) get wifi good enough to start up and load the map 5) play the map just moving your hand one millimeter every millisecond 6)become osu god
My bad, apparently I skimmed over that too quickly. AR0 was for the final part of the experiment, where I wanted one pile of notes to stack offscreen and the other pile to not. Stack leniency and AR are sort of related, where on a higher AR, some notes won't stack (because they disappear too quickly) whereas they would on a lower AR.
Since the change in speed is mach 11 60 times in a minute 144 times per second, you are changing your speed from mach 11 to -mach 11 in 0.00694444444 seconds therefore you are pulling 110800g's per circle
Few months ago, I actually wrote a script that generates a beatmap with lots of stars. I was only able to up to 990 stars. Mainly because I didn't knew I could go more than 384 vertically and that stacking update.
Other people are freaking out because of his knowledge, while I'm over here like 'omfg his profile pic is Yuki from school live, like my all time favorite anime ever.'
I really feel like you're joking. Currently, osu uses a 32-bit engine and there are some integer limits on most programs. The 32-bit integer limit is 2147483647. Once that number is reached or over that amount, there are many possible outcomes. The program crashes, the number becomes negative, or the number automatically decreases infinitely until it reaches 0.
I actually found out that the auto in osu! cheats. When there are large groups of notes that happen at pretty much the same time the bot keeps the notes on the screen for longer and gives it self infinite time to hit the notes.
4:14 look at the score osu! can't load a number higher than the 32 bit integer limit (2,147,483,647) or (2 billion, 147 million, 483 thousand, 647 hundred). when osu! reaches this number, the score goes backwards, then stops at a certain number and goes on again
Im kinda glad that PP is community run in beatsaber so it doesn’t get nerfed when people do good and there aren’t obscene amounts that only one or two players can get
Since you didn't talk about AR0, I'm going to make my assumption. The reason you put it at ar0 is because it would be similar to EZ, which is nearly impossible to read. Except I don't think that EZ can go to ar0. So I assume that it would be to increase the amount of pbjects on one screen at a time.
EZ can technically go to ar0, but it would need to be on a map with ar... 0 HT can bring it to ar -5 (if you count ar0 as only 1800ms, and -5 as 2400 (ar5 is 1200))
you can't possibly tap fast enough, lol. If you played with relax, and you modded the game to be able to display it, sure. Then it'd just be an extremely laggy simultaneous slider and hold slider!
I’m just imagining an anime character furiously clicking the seeps eleven times the speed of sound like you know with the really concentrated look and the special effects
I don't think the map ended because it froze, I think it's because it has been 32 seconds, the expected time for the level to finish, but the level didn't finish, so the game freezes in confusion until it decides to just end the level.
We'd need a monitor large enough to see something moving at the speed of light, then we get into confusing things like the speed of information and such so maybe? Depending on how you look at things.
I want to say no, but the answer is actually... yes. It's completely infeasible, but it's technically possible. It's just like how you can shine a laser pointer at the moon and dart it across. The "dot" would move at a rate higher than the speed of light. But wait! how is this possible, you ask? well, to put it simply, nothing is actually travelling. The dot is comprised of different photons, it's not actually an object or particle that's moving across, it just looks like it. A little bit like how in movies, you're actually displayed still frames, but it looks like they're moving because they're played sequentially. A similar thing could theoretically be done in Osu!, but you'd have to either render at framerates, or make the map extremely extremely long to get enough stacks in to get far enough. Well, probably a mix of both, actually. And you wouldn't actually see the cursor move, as far as we're concerned, it would just teleport from one place to another.
mrBorkD The dot would actually not move faster then light :) have you ever tried moving the beam of a water gun faster then light? No? Because it wont work. The Beam actually curves when you pull it over. So the dot would still move with the speed of light. Sorry Broh :D The cursor however could "travel" faster then light because its an "object" without mass. But only if you rebuild the computer signals to be sent from 2 different "positions" of the giant screen. If you send the signal from one computer it would again not work because the time the signal takes to travel the way from the computer to your Monitor would exceed the required timing of inputs again. It doesnt fall under the law of macroscopic things, so you could work a way around that. But informations cant travel faster then light. Even you cursor cant without some trickery. Hope i could clear some stuff up :) p.s. ye i know Einstein is annoying ;D

this video was a fun watch and I wouldn't mind seeing more
Yeah, the background music made it a smoother experience overall, I say keep it.
Yup, more videos like that would be appreciated. Perhaps it might give some new ideas to the mapping community. Although it's a very low chance >.>
