I would use the ones I use in the video to convert or more siege and few legios as meat shield. Also you can switch around some advisors to get more hp on legios / more of them. If you really struggle you can forget about the optional just to get it done quickly with cav.

I was trying the new scepter too, but with more range I think it's even more ok
It was hard to me with my legios...I cannot beat them troupes, bows, arches and takaras. Which unit is good against them?

Gallic might be hard to sustain but should work, eques / couple officers work for sure
Are the Roman priests as good as some of the others?
