Any company anymore that uses a license of their own namesake should just say EULA... The GNU, CC, Mozilla and MIT etc...styled past aside, licensing seems to be much more a part of the marketing department than the technical or "truly" legal when "new" licenses are released. It will be interesting to see when the US Supreme courts idea of "all AI outputs" are uncopyrightable and licenses like these come into conflict on a precedent case basis... It usually just a self-back rub... most research is just a shell firm for a commercial company. Structure appropriately.
