I love Oatmeal soap!! And you are so right, it is great if you have dry skin. Winter is hard on skin, and this soap is 'needed'! New to your channel. USA
I never would have thought of putting oatmeal in the soap. I have put it on top but never inside. Another great idea from you Karen! I am going to try it!
Hi Karen! Your recipe is fabulous......what I do is after I pour, I put my soap immediately in the freezer. After 12 hours, I then transfer to refrigerator. I unmold after 24 hour. Sometimes I let the soap sit for 24 hours before cutting. Working with milks are a challenge but ohhh soooo worth it!
This is a must try. My daughters have eczema and this my be better for them to use. I love your show. Thanks for introducing use to the world of soap making.
It cracked cuz the milk got to hot I don’t cp pop mine I let it set sometimes it cracks from heat and it could always raise depending on your recipe you use some just get way to hot it gets hot in middle cools down on sides faster the soap is still ok to use
It looks just like oat flour that is really good in your soap too looks good 😊 I put 4 teaspoons per pound it works out beautiful I just made a honey oatmeal soap last week with coconut milk I must say my coconut milk and goats milk are both so different I like them both the one with honey and coconut milk came out a perfect honey color
Interesting I never feel that my colloidal oat soap is rough (which I wanted it to be a bit for exfoliation) guess I'll have to try grinding up some oats instead.
Hi-Aye Karen, This looks like a great soap! especially for the summer. I've heard the oatmeal is great for the skin and I love the Oatmeal milk and honey scent! I made a soap similar to the other OM&Honey soap you made, with the melt n pour piece of honey and drizzle. My daughters friend was crazy about it. I confess to copying a couple things you've done with your soap, but I believe you said it was ok, just that you would appreciate the credit, and I am always mentioning your name and Eden's Secret. Plus I don't have a business, mine is just for fun. I tell everyone about your RUclips channel and how great your soaps are. My direct family live in a few different states, so not only do I tell all of them, but also the people that I sit next to in the airport and on the airplane lol I love how you create such a wide range of designs for your soaps, SO, Bye-Bye for now
I've often been told if your soap is to pretty people won't buy it because they feel bad using it. I've never done the kind of soaps, like landscape soaps and such so I don't know? However, people adore and buy a lot of soaps with natural additives like oatmeal. I know this is true because I make quite a few myself. This soap will be so great for anyone who has dry itchy allergy skin. I make this for my son because he has eczema, and it really has changed his skin for the better. He is the whole reason I started making soap. From the time he was the tiniest baby he couldn't use commercial soap. It would cause rashes and very rough skin. So I used to bathe him in nothing but colloidal oats. He smelled like a cookie, lol!!! I know anyone who buys a bar of this soap will be back for more! I use Nature's Garden Milk and Honey too in my oat soap. I put mine in the refrigerator overnight and never get cracks. It heats up so much from the sweet milk sugars. I put all my milk soaps in the fridge. It also prevents soda ash. Especially if you also use a water discount, which also helps. I know this smells incredible! Jill Gross
Sorry I have a question, I was thinking of starting a RUclips channel, what kind of camera do you use? I like all your soaps and learning new things from watching your videos.
A very simple soap but sometimes simple is better!

I'll make an oatmeal soap today.
Would this soap be okay for someone with sensitive skin?
What causes soap to crack? At least you were able to fix it.
It got too hot
Love this video ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It split on top because it overheated from the milk.
I love it
Sorry I have a question, I was thinking of starting a RUclips channel, what kind of camera do you use? I like all your soaps and learning new things from watching your videos.

It’s on the website now - I just ordered some yesterday and really excited to get it!

It says 350 g of distilled water but onscreen it says 700g is that mixed with oat milk and water. Thank you for an amazing video
The recipe in description is for one loaf double that for two loaves like I have here
If you used goats milk you could call it ‘Goats & Oats , for people who like to smell like a farm’ 🤣
I love that Goats and Oats I will do that someday
@@EdensSecret1 I’ll look forward to buying some too! 🧼
