Nice video, If Kent and East Sussex Railway gets full green light on extension, will be getting a crossing like this instead of the traditional classic white level crossing gates. Haven't heard much about that recently, but hoping to hear more soon. Rother Valley Railway from Bodiam to Robertsbridge that is, but apart from that. Good video, could hear engine in the distance minutes before it arrived when you were walking around crossing itself. At least I think it was the steam engine not sure as never visited this railway yet & don't know much about the areas around there? But yeah, cheers for video & look forward to seeing more in future. 😀👍
This crossing reminds me of my childhood 🥲 I would visit Aviemore in Scotland every year, and I would wait for a train at the Level Crossing (at the time, it was halogen, open and bells) Now they renewed it with LED'S, SPX Barriers and Yodalarms and destroyed my child moments.
I was obsessed and used to watch the "No.17 Crossing Dalfaber Level Crossing" video over and over when I was younger. Unfortunately it was too far away for me to ever film.
