This amp growls like a beast. I think it's the ultimate one for saturated rock/metal tones.
I already super happy with it's tones, without many tweaking, i guess it has infinite possibilities in high gain game, and as always it sounds super natural, for my ears
Love it. This feels tailored to extended range in particular too, like more so for 8-9 string guitars. There's a beautiful bite in the high mids that's making this so ear pleasing to me

i have a question , are you running the ts-808 in the fx loop with the eq? i have a 5150iii head and cab and i want to try that in real space.
Never heard of putting the overdrive into fx loop, but o think it's impossible to do within the plugin
OD after the preamp is just a dumb thing to do. It serves no purpose other than overloading the power amp with a shitty sounding signal.
Where do these people come up with this sort of crazy crap???

I used my old line6 ux8 interface, but i can't say about the bufer size (just didn't check it out long time)
If I said I wanted that 8 string- I can't find it online...
It's discontinued rg2228 model, but i modded it with pickguard

Why you do not use a Kemper or an axe fx ? Do you believe that plug-ins are ok for making high quality metal music ? All your contest are flawless but could it be easier if you use a good modeler or sampler even a quad cortex ?
I truly believe that all the expensive stuff is good but if you don't need all the functions of a kemper you don't need to spend so much money
Plugins or preamp pedals can deliver amazing sound results these days, especially if you are not touring or recording musician.
People who listen the music doesn't care what you use to record the sound, they listen to the song, melodies and all these gear is not super important.

I think one good basic sound is enough. So don’t get a lot of plugins rather get one and stick to it.

Buy yourself a preamp: on the field from AMT or better yet, a tube one, an impulse loader like Two Note Cab M+ and you will be happy 🤘🤘🤘! You will avoid such plugins. There is only one task here - to sell this software. Don't see reviews from RUclips.

@@user-kp2qz6zf1sAs for evh, I liked the plugin from mercuriall, in terms of attack and dynamics it is very good, but for a long time I played on an engl tube preamp until I found a high-quality e530 emulation, and later I tried mesa. Honestly, the sound of plugins always depends on two things: the preamp of the sound card and the impulse of the cabinet, they eat up both the accuracy of the game and blur the attack, so I spent a lot of time selecting the IRs I needed
Артикуляция на этом плагине хорошая, но сам звук слабоват если просто использовать, как Standalone версию. Так же отмечу излишне повышенный шум (можно убрать гейтом). Это я про 6160, а те усилки так вообще хлам. В миксе с 4 дорожками гитар, басом и барабанами может и шлак хорошо звучать. Взять того же Олу Энглунда, у которого любая шняга ложится в микс. На деле все эти плагины в основном пшик. Наверное бесплатным плагинам новую одёжку прикручивают и готово. Мне только Archetype Gojira близка к идеальному жиру.
