VW TIGUAN MK2 - How To Remove Rear Plastic Arch Trim Removal Replacement

Guide on how to remove the rear plastic arch trim lip on a VW Tiguan Mk2 model, years 2017 onwards.
In the video we remove the rear wheel and also the inner arch liner. Removal of the rear arch trims can be done without removing these, but doing so removes the risk of breaking the clips, and makes it possible for us to film to show the locations of the fittings.

We haven't tried this. It could be possible, but you risk breaking some of the clips/fittings on the arch.

at 02:42 is it the rainwater drain from the sunroof that we see? with the red cap? I have water in the trunk and I think one of these pipes is clogged. Thanks in advance.

We no longer have the vehicle available to check this, but from what it looks like yes it is likely to be the sunroof drain.

Do you think this is almost the same for the 2019 atlas? I hit a debri on the highway and it damaged my trim. Thank you

We don't get the Atlas in the UK, so cannot confirm this. However they are usually put together in a similar way, so it should be a similar process to remove the arch.
