Hi Karen, I absolutely love this idea!!!!! I'm working on my first craft show and have been looking at U Tube for awhile now and have gotten so many ideas!!! I'm so excited to see this one. I do the 3x3 sticky note books, and they are adorable. Thank you so much for sharing!! I will definitely be making these.
Hi Bailey. My next craft fair is in March so I'll be posting a few more in the coming weeks. Most of my craft fairs are in the Fall and right before Christmas. Thanks for watching.
yes, great way to use up scraps. If you are looking to mass produce, I would recommend using a full 12x12 sheet of paper. It would go a lot faster. Enjoy!
Wow! You are my craft fair heroine Karen! I am a new demonstrator, but just in it for the discounts!! I'm retired, and I loved watching this video. I am hoping one day to attend some craft fairs in my area. I've watched some other videos of yours and they're great as well. Thanks for all of your teaching and sharing on how these cute items are made.
Yay! I am a new RUclipsr and now a new subscriber of yours! I really enjoy watching your videos to get cute crafty ideas to make for my kids teachers and gifts for parties and stuff! I love all of your ideas so far and I am super inspired! Thank you! Wishing you lots of success at your up coming craft fairs and events!!! I love seeing all of you crafty ladies doing what you love and making a business out of it! That is so wonderful!! Many blessings~ Michelle from Dallas Tx
I just subscribed after watching this video. Love this idea. I think I will make some just for my family and friends. Very cute idea and I look forward to watching this series. Thanks!
Hi Karen, I’ve just found you and am now subscribed! I’m going to a crop at the beginning of March and have been looking for something to give to the ladies attending. These are perfect. I’m looking forward to more of your videos.
Hi Karen, great channel ! I'm happy I subscribed ;-) Just one question : What is the reason for having the heigths of the top and the bottom different ? (3/8 at the top and 1/2 at the bottom) Thank you
Karen, these are so cute. I'm wondering how you display them at your craft shows. If you could send / post pics that would be awesome. Thanks for sharing this tutorial. It's awesome.
Hi Jennifer. If you go to my facebook page, I posted my booth setup from last weekend. I put the mini post-its in two different locations and display in a wooden tray and also a basket.
man, I didn't realize how many sizes there are in mini post-it-notes. Plus the glue comes on either the long side or the short side. Could you tell me the measurements of your post it's you used, please?
Love watching these videos and learning. I was wondering how you figure out what to price your items at? Do you sell these individually or in a pack of 3 or something? Thanks for sharing 🌸
Wow this is interesting. I calculated your costs for what I could see. It cost you approximately 65 cents on material to make 1 of these and that's based on what I could see. Pennies add up.
I come up with approximately 54 cents. Hard to estimate paper and adhesive. I also think that if you have something in your booth that draws customers, they are more apt to purchase other products from you as well.
@@karenmcnall paper and adhesive to me are somewhat easy to calculate. Your paper based on stamping up lower priced dsp 12 sheets with shipping and tax, your 2x5 dsp paper is 12 cents each. 1 strip of 2 inch score tape is 1 cent based on buying very cheap score tape. I didn't calculate the circles.
I just discovered your channel. Love this little project and so functional. I am a new subbie. P. S. Where do you live that there are 10 craft shows a year? That is wonderful.
Hi Karen, Thanks for this tutorial. I have made several already. I was wondering how you display the post-it notes. Do you put them in a plastic bin and let customers pick out the ones that want??? My craft fair is this Saturday.
Hi Debra. Yes, the mini post-it notes I put in a wicker basket or clear bin. I allow people to pick and chose what they want to purchase. I have photos on my business facebook page of my recent booth setup if you want to check it out.
Ashley Marie Roberts hi Ashley. I purchased my Stampin’ Up! Cutter a few years ago. SU is developing a new cutter and it should be out on the market soon. That is why one is not listed in the current catalog and online. Stay tuned.
hi when ordering sticky notes what size do I order I know you cut ur paper 2 " so the post not must be that size right? but all i see is 3x3 or 1/7/8 x2" would this be the size lol ty
Hi Ronda. Thank you for watching my video. I sell the trimmer. My website is karenmcnall1.stampinup.net/ Hit the shop now button, and the item number is 152392. Replacement blades are item number 152391.
Hi Karen, Do you buy Post-it Notes Mini Cubes, 2 x 2, Canary Yellow/Green Wave, 400-Sheet, 3/Pack from Office Supply and separate them. If so, about how many sheets per item? Thanks, Janet
Or do you order these (Business Source Yellow Repositionable Adhesive Notes 1.88" x 1.38" - Rectangle - Yellow - Repositionable, Solvent-free Adhesive - 12 / Pack)?
@@karenmcnall Thank you, I would use "Stampin Up", But, the truth is I just can not afford it. I'm a senior now & I'm the sole supporter. So there isn't enough money for things like scrapbook paper.. I have thin paper that I've had for years when paper crafting started in 2000.
Hi Kris. I do not wrap them together. I allow customers to hand pick the notes they would like to purchase. Makes it super easy and customers get to pick what they like.
Hi Kirbie. If you go to this link, I just posted my pre-setup for my March craft fair. I put them in multiple containers throughout my booth. facebook.com/InspiredByGram/photos/pb.550853421629708.-2207520000.1551035115./2183551388359895/?type=3&theater

These are really cute, Karen. I would be tempted to cut the Velcro circles in half. They seem a bit heavy duty for designer paper.
If you want to re-use the holder, I would use the 5/8" circles and not cut them in half.
Fantastic Video! Would love to hear about the different craft fairs you do and what sells what time of year! Looking forward to this series!

I use Designer Series Paper, not card stock. Here is the link to my blog post. www.inspiredbygram.com/2019/01/craft-fair-2019-series-episode-1.html
do I have to consider the weight of the paper? Some crafts will not turn out so nice if I use the wrong paper weight.. Do you understand?
