Good message, aside from the call to conform to the Bible. Is the Bible the best guide to a good life? Yes. Does it require you to conform? No. Religions and religious leaders try to get you to conform to their version, their interpretation of the Bible. Your life is an ongoing judgment of how closely you follow the best guide- the Bible.
There is no perfect church and never will be. Those who strive to follow Chrjst and repent when they fall is the neww testament covenant of grace. But yes, there are those religious leaders that lay down traditions of men.. But the church was to be a support group of worship and faith. Fifty-five years of marriage my wife have not always agreed. But we remain solid in our relationshp of love, warts and all so to speak in acceptance. No one is an island and to disagree js to reject the biblical principles of intent of God. God bless.

Excillent teaching
Stott tells it as it is with no apologies of what the Scriptures teach. Great straight forward call to discernment and obedience.
Absolutely! Our present culture might be turned off by such a message, and that in itself reveals our present sad state.
