Hi, I lived just outside Corby for 14 years, yes we have strict planning permission rules regarding house building, you would think that if you own a plot of land you can build what you want on your land right? wrong! it's for a good reason, for instance I recently went to the Philippines and when you see houses in all shapes and sizes and look completely different it looks ugly, when you see a big rich persons mansion then next door someone is living in a tin hut it doesn't look very nice. So why did you choose Corby out of the whole of the UK? I live in North Devon now which is very different!

I haven't lived in St Lucia but I've been there several times for long periods of time and I don't know how you all do it. I live in the UK and when I go food shopping in SLU it's super expensive!!!! I'm like how do people survive? My friend's mom has started growing her own food and we go to the local markets. I tend to be vegetarian when I am there and treat myself to a fish here and there because goodness, it's expensive!
