Nice pfp to. I noticed when you acclimated the tetras, you only let the bag float in the water, then put them in the tank. This will acclimate them to your water temperature but not your PH and what not. It probably won’t matter with hardy fish but in the future you should put them fish in that bucket then every 10 min or so put a cup of your water in with them, then net the fish out and put them in the tank(without getting the stores water in) like you said. You can look it up online for a better example.
Ph takes days if not weeks to acclimate to if you ask me. If you watch king of diy for example he always uses this method and I have also been using the same method for a decade
Small chiclids are something I’ve been getting into lately. It would be hard for me to send some back. Nice tanks dude. I like the gravel.

Very nice! Gold barbs are less commonly seen in the usa, but they're very popular in Europe. I'm in Florida but my friends @Aquadiction (a great channel) are in England, and they feature all kinds of fish, but i know they're very partial to gold barbs. New subscription...can't wait to see more 😊

I wouldn't chillies in that cylinder tank they need swimming room can I suggest like a 4 ft or bigger tank. Either wise great videos
If you look back they were in a 40 gallon breeder before and honestly they do better in this tank

how long could you have a clown knife fish before it will outgrow your tank.. i have a 75 gal and wondering how long i could have it in their ?
They’re pretty much going to outgrow most tanks. Just be prepared to get them a bigger home at some point. I’m going to be upgrading to a 75 here shortly and mixing all my chiclids with the clown knife . I was growing my chiclids out so he won’t eat them

Wouldn't having an Angelfish with Neon Tetras and other small Characids be a Bad Idea? They can get very Territorial, and also with small Characids they tend to eat them as they are a Prey Item for them.
I’ve never had an issue she is very friendly I feel like a lot of people keep them with tetras
@@StoneAquatics Did You introduce Her to the Tank when She was very Small? I've heard that when introduced to Tetras at an Age where they can't eat them, they may grow to respect them more. But I don't know if that is actually True because I never kept Angelfish Myself.
No angel fish really are not aggressive at all unless they are breading 99% of people keep them exactly how I do in a community style
that ghost fish is gonna get MASSIVE like red tail catfish size
It’s not a ghost fish first of all and it does grow that big but unlike a red tail they do not do it overnight. I’ve kept these fish my entire life

I have many videos on live planted tanks in the past on my channel! To be honest I just don’t have the time to tend to a fully planted tank at the moment I’m working a full time job and RUclips is just for fun!

Probably two males and seven females. I would go female heavy to avoid fighting

40 gallon is completely over stocked but as long as you’re doing lots of water changes you’re good keep up the good work bro! there are always ways around things you just have to do more work!
Not overstocked at all I don’t do anything to the tank and it runs fine no work at all.

Sand for the Shellies. And check the adult size on ur chichlids and a ghost knife
You don’t have to have sand with Shellie’s .. and I know how big my fish get they are in grow outs

Hi nice video, Have you ever considered building a deep substrate and keeping plants? So many benefits with it. Or if you ever want to really go deep into ecosystems I recommend trying a 'dirted tank', with micro organisms (benefiticial bacteria), Micro fauna (seed shrimp, octopods, black worms etc), Plants, invertebrates and fish. There is so much to document and capture in this type of tank and it would be so fun to watch everything :)
