In this exercise, it is a given. In "real life" it would need to be identified and added to the project cost. Here is some guidance: www.deepfriedbrainproject.com/2017/08/direct-costs-vs-indirect-costs-project-management.html
@@jamesmarion6118 Hello, sir! thank you so much for responding to me on this. Yes, the weblink does help. However, I do not quite get what you meant that the Indirect Cost is given in the exercise. How was it derive? I can't quite see the sentence that states anything of Indirect Cost.
@@jamesmarion6118 Oh! Understood on this. Just to also ask, are there instances whereby we have to calculate the Indirect Cost? or will it always be given in the question?
Thanks for this video, Dr. Marion! I think your note on the "business expertise" element of a doctoral program also speaks to the dual purpose of applied research - providing theoretical (academic) and practical (organizational) value. Solving problems for companies begins with expertise. Further, I think your example of the tidepool case study could be metaphorically applied to the purpose behind case study research - providing a droplet of new knowledge to the a big ocean of research and ideas. Atomic, deeply contextualized findings. Thanks for sharing, Ian - Trident University
Why do you add the B duration? It should just delete it right because the B is after A not aftet C. And you should explain in details how you get the negative slack instead of just assuming students are robots that know everything
Thanks a LOT, my professor tried to explain this over an hour but nobody understood whats going on yet you explained in 4 minutes we need more teachers like you..

Hello, sir! Could I ask how is the Indirect Cost calculated?

@@sean-m4g5k It was not derived in this case--it was just supplied as a "given" for the purposes of the exercise.
@@jamesmarion6118 Oh! Understood on this. Just to also ask, are there instances whereby we have to calculate the Indirect Cost? or will it always be given in the question?
@@sean-m4g5k In academic settings, it is usually given.
