Thrilled to see recognition for the returning MA in Humanities (HUX) program with Dr. Matthew Luckett, and excited about the new frontiers in Digital Badging/Credentials, Workforce Readiness, and Student Advancement & Recognition through the College of Continuing & Professional Education, and Workforce Integration Network! Happy Holidays and Happy 2024! #GoToros 🤘🏽
Somehow the record amount of extramural funding gets overlooked every year. Seeing Dean Kim on the mechanical bull made the whole video worth watching.
Jaiden is fire!!! 🙌🏽

Thank u.
Thanks for the upload. Do not waste another day - Promo-SM !!!
Time to return to normal. Get rid of all the covid rules and hire back staff who refused your draconian mandates. Give the students permanent free parking.
Give professors the option to continue teaching online, many of my classes don't need in person lectures. Ignoring your students wishes is tyrannical.
We don’t want to go back! What don’t you get! Cases are worse than any other semester!!!!!!!!
Face-to-face options for most survey or seminar classes just don't make sense right now, and that's what I'm returning to despite being a creative major. I have missed a majority of hands-on learning opportunities that would have been transformative, like you say. But lectures are what I'm left to return to. I don't blame the college for all decisions made, but they certainly don't understand the extent to which education has changed and been mishandled over the past two years.
You lost me. Do you want to return on campus or not? CSUDH is a university not a community college. It’s beautiful to see the changes on campus I’ve seen the transformation because I was raised in Carson and are a product of the community. I’ve built more bridges between departments than any of my fellow Toro Human Services majors. I’m a “disabled“ Army veteran who is being forced into the classroom and a suffocating campus environment.
Why you gotta break my heart on valentines day. 🤧🤧😭💔.
He is ignoring our concerns regarding early return for the schools selfish money reasons. SMH
$200 parking permit XDDDD
Keep online classes. Much more convenient for most students.
I have history of ovarian cancer and now am being forced to going on campus????? Makes no sense if I’ve been doing great at home and gotten all As.
Request accommodations from the student “disability “ resource office. The university has to provide accommodations. I’m requesting a classroom with A/C, an office chair, note taking assistance, etc.
Booooo🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
How is proactive partnership being practiced? We're being forced to return in person.
I'm sorry how is sitting with a mask on for hours a better learning environment???
I demand Parham resign because he can’t even provide me with a house of worship on campus. We’re the only campus in the world without a MSA.
$$$$$$ this is what he is thinking about when making this speech. . "Now, prior to the winter break, our infection rates were extremely low. In fact, the lowest across the CSU system." Prior to winter break we were still in online classes of course they were low what were you even thinking about when you said this oh that's right $$$$$. Like Onaled said before they are hurting for money and do not care if they cause another outbreak as long as they get their extra money from the services no one is using. Also why are computer tech classes and computer science classes in person. EVERYTHING IN THOSE CLASSES CAN BE DONE ONLINE NO REASON TO GO TO CLASS I HAVE MY OWN COMPUTER AND OTHERS CAN BORROW ONE FROM THE SCHOOL.
An 8min long video to say "We know you're scared, but let's pretend coming to campus is safer than learning from home because we need your money"
Just wait until the covid cases in Los Angeles spike due to the superbowl this weekend.
“Less deadlier?!?!” It’s still deadly It doesn’t matter if it’s less or more You’ll still be in danger
Aren't hospitalization numbers still higher than they were for all of the Fall semester? This feels very rushed and unnecessary. Requiring an N95 mask isn't a reasonable solution unless the school will be providing them for free. They're hard to find and have become very expensive. None of this feels good.
Did anyone notice how he failed to mention the percentage of staff that will be coming back to work? Will it be 100% attendance like he is proposing for the students? This is doubtful. He uses words like "confident" instead of hopeful, Dr. Parham's impatience is heavily influenced by the monetary strain of the University. Nearly 2 years without parking fees, Room & board, cafeteria and other food sales, not to mention the ticket sales from events. That's a lot of cash being lost and those that are losing are determined to even the scales ... even if it come at the price of putting your own bread and butter at risk. Please everyone email David Gamboa, Interim Chief of Staff at You message will go directly to him and land close to President Parham.
Literally a majority of students don't want in person classes no idea why you're forcing us all to go. Also an amazing job for actively ignoring the petition many students have signed against returning to campus.
What about the petition that was signed by over 3000 students stating they weren’t comfortable going back?
I'm sending my funeral and student loan bills to CSUDH
Advocate for yourself! We’re paying the paychecks on campus.
Aw man this ain't cash money.
same here, not safe at all, wondering what is the actual reason for this rush!!!?
$$$$$
I’m still feel uncomfortable going back on campus. I know that I only have one class in person, but I still don’t want to jeopardize myself.
If we all call then we will be heard
@@marisoniagaytan7664 For real.
@Physics with Professor Grewal N95 masks have become expensive and hard to find. It would be great if professors would advocate for the university to provide them for free to students who need them, especially if we're being made to return to campus when infection and hospitalization rates are still so high.
@@larkinnovak1734 Also on the CSUDH IG page they mentioned the following on one of their posts from 2 weeks ago: "To clarify: employees are required to wear medical-grade masks (such as N95) per health guidelines. N95 masks are not required for students. Health officials do advise people upgrade their masks from cloth to surgical or KN95 for added protection."
@Physics with Professor Grewal you know what else mititgates the risk? Staying online.
I’m sorry this feels a little too rushed.
This doesn’t feel right
Who cares? CSUDH is of the worst campuses ever, and its in the ghetto, lol. Liberal propeganda rules supreme, I guess.
I need phone number to.talk to admissions counselor

This video says nothing about the vaccine mandate for return to campus. It needs to be included in this video to prevent tons of questions.
Congratulations to all Graduates and Current Students of CSUDH. May God bless us all as we navigate COCVID-19. Can't wait to get my vaccinations. Dr. Binzie Roy Davidson DBA, Graduate of CSUDH.
Thank you Dr. Parham for those wonderful words. They were inspiring and sincere. Your leadership is what is needed in these times. Blessings.
