Great tie, what vise/morsetto are you using?

This is a great tool, does wonders for my big streamer pattern’s especially flies like the Dali Lama and Sex Dungeon. I’m sure it has some applicability on smaller dries and would love to see how you can use it with deer hair.

Nice fly…if you wrap the thread 2 or 3 wraps, at the same time, on the half hitch tool and slip it off on the head, you make a whip finish locking knot the same as a whip finish tool!

Is there a clearer (or transluscent) option that allows the thread body color to show through, but still adds a pearl or iridescent effect? I find most tinsels too opaque, to the extent that the underbody thread color makes little to no difference. Thank you.

ya know...for having a rotary vise, you would have thought you'd mount the hook property to offset that wobbling...just saying. All that tech in that vice and you're not using it to its full capabilities.
