I don't think it's going to be good to be honest. I'm playing it still as is , and it's not bad , it just feels half complete , and I guess that's fine. I hate the kibble system for ark mobile but I understand they need to sell soothing balms to people for 5$ or whatever. I don't see anything hopeful coming here , that is without a huge paywall that no one is going to invest in. And if you think about it this makes sense. Wildcard: "hey, you remember the very poorly optimized laggy mess that is ark mobile? Now you can get two new maps that are just as buggy, for the low low 'one-time' purchase of 59.99$! (Creatures are still not compatible in different islands. Creatures still cannot be uploaded or transferred between maps.)" Player base: no thanks , I think I'll spend 59$ on a real game. Hell, last time I tried to buy 3$ worth of amber from this shop you took my money and didn't even give me anything, I'm good on the 'one time' purchases, thanks. I'm 95% sure that the "Scam Ascended" is what they were going to ship as Ark 2, but then realized their buggy game can't be refactored to a "souls like game". Now they are mixing together bunch of nonsense to release as a "game"

I'm sorry, I know there won't be a lot of people who feel the same but I just know if they actually do make Ark 2 it's going to be complete fucking trash. Ark despite all of its issues set aside, the core fundamentals of Ark is master class, and I hate that it's focusing on "Story driven" bs when Ark gave you no information other than you happen to stumble across notes here and there which made you want to explore more and figure the story out yourself. Also, Its so gimmicky to have Vin Diesel as santiago, honestly, it really turned me off from the whole thing completely. Wildcard is a garbage company that was bought out by an even more garbage company. It's time to move on and stop buying products from them since they can't deliver on anything they say.
