I can’t for the life of me find the 10mm on the back plastic cover
I have to say that it's in a very odd spot. Dealing with anything against the firewall sucks. Try to maybe use your phone camera or a mirror to get a better visual back behind the plastic
I couldn't either so I took two flathead and broke it off 😂😂
What do you do if the bed is stuck in the down position?
Is it the same for a 2015 6.6 litre duramax diesel?
I believe for the 6.6L sensor will be located on the bottom passenger side of the block.
Sweet, I have same issue. Thanks
Can you tell us how to add hydraulic fluid
Can you drive with the oil pressure on 80?
I wouldn't advise doing that because you don't know if the sensor is faulty or there is an actual issue with the engine getting oil flow. I would diagnose the sensor 1st.
What about the screen
My wiring harness at the two relays was badly corroded from 6 winter seasons 11,000 miles, 700 hours on salty roads in New Hampshire. The pins in the connector to one of the relays corroded and a wire fell out. Temp repair was to cut the wire back to clean wire and jam it into the connector. Ordering a new short harness # AM136637. 2017 825i w/ power steering and DeLuxe glass cab
Wiring definitely takes a beating from the winter weather. Those relays are usually the culprit with these gators, even seen them slip out and lose contact. Glad you were able to repair it and hope everything gets fixed up 🤙
I have the same Gator 2016 825i wonder if it’s that cold if a hair dryer woukd help nut now I know if it’s cold leave it alone 👍👍👍👍🛺🛺🛺🛺🛺🛺🛺🛺🛺
You can definitely use a hairdryer to warm it up. Just want to make sure you don't over heat any wiring near it. Been there, done that years ago.
This video will be needed for decades to come. Thank you 👍👍👍💯👌👌
Is this the same engine with 2014 Savana 2500 6.0 litter?
It will be the same and actually your sensor is easier to access because you will remove your cupholder part of your dash under the radio. Behind you will find the sensor on top.
U didn’t pull the filter screen out and clean or replace!! That’s usually the whole problem.. not the sensor.
Hey john. I used a 8 in pick to try and pull out the filter and never reached anything. Are you sure there is a filter for this truck? Serious question im working on my truck as I type this.
@@erichard1215 I just bought a sensor for my truck and it came with one, But mines a 2013
I did not replace for the screen because I couldn't see down in there did not remove the back plastic plate either replace the sensor works great
I have found that on 2014-2019 Silverado's the oil pressure switch is in the front of the intake.... Is there two oil pressure sensors? And is the screen on the front sensor and the rear sensor?
That is interesting, I never seen 2 oil pressure sensors before . I know that in the front of the motor just below the throttle body is the (oil sending unit) and (PCV valve). The oil pressure sensor is located on the back on top of the block of the engine. Use to have a 2004 5.3L and it was located there as well.
There is only one in the front like you stated... no screen on 2014-2019 models. I really appreciate all of everyone's input!! ❤️ wr are looking for support and not having to spend lots of time and money to get it! God bless and God speed!!😉
Bro Nice I sub 2 u u can u sub back
