i love envy the character but i have always hated their hair.

This is so painstakingly lame. The only thing "lust" about this character is her name and appearance. If it weren't for that, she's just a super lame regenerating character with fancy claws. Her motives and behaviour have nothing to do with the vice she supposedly personifies. This show kills braincells.

Envy is fascinating to me because his power, on paper, should be extremely broken. shapeshifting is an extremely versatile power by definition, and we see him not just turning into other people. but turning into animals, even shifting his arm into a snake and a blade in his fight with Ling. Not to mention his ability to turn into a giant monster. and yet, he can barely hold his own in a fight half the time. He could be a monumental threat if he'd hone his skills and focus on his strengths, and yet instead of doing that, he focuses on turning into other people to try and get the drop on others. It's extremely poetic, and true to his sin, wasted potential, just trying to be other people.

Perhaps Hughes should not have been speaking aloud while he was in the archive room. Sure he was alone but I would been cautious of EVERYONE/EVERYTHING, never assumed I was truly alone, and slept with one eye open. 🥴

Hi this is me ranting abt envy. Envy constantly mocks humans for having emotions, feelings and ambitions, but ironically enough, they couldn't fight mustang exactly because of this. Envy had a good advantage over Mustang, not because of their bigass form, but rather because they could've shapeshifted into smth that could blind or wet Roy. They didn't, though, because they were too focused on torturing him psychologically, manipulating him. They "couldn't do the logical thing" because "they were blinded by their emotions". Alongside WHY Envy thought it was a good idea to give Mustang a bigger target, they associate size with power. The taller and larger you are, the more powerful and the more you impose, in Envys eyes. Why do they think that? Because you surely cannot forget/ignore a bigass dog-serpent-like lizard thing with thousands of Xerxians' souls accumulated. I believe that, in a way, Envy, also wants to be seen and not interpreted as weak or useless, the perfect contrats for their true form: a tiny little guy
