And yeah my biggest skill issue is controlling the camera properly to see what Ariandel is doing honestly, its slightly akward how you have to angle it to see his attacks from above while keeping an eye on Friede. Obviously I have to get better at recognizing the telegraphs as well.

@bubududugaming8336 excluding frostbite procs, second phase is honestly the easiest one imo, but it requires some careful positioning and good observation, and you don't wanna be too greedy. :)

@ Honestly, dodging him isnt hard at all, I simply havent practiced him in a year and forgot where to punish lol. Its kinda hard with slower weapons

@@bubududugaming8336 yeah, Nameless King has (I'm pretty sure) multiple inconsistent follow-ups, so it's really a test of patience fighting him with anything slower than greatswords. Not mentioning the drag-on first phase lol.

I had some attempts where phase 1 was double the time of this kill because of multiple uninterrupted heals and soulmass 🤬

Thanks a lot man. Out of the weapons you can wield on Level 1, yeah probably, the only downside is that it requires 3 rings to wield (Knights, Hunters and Milk Ring), none of which are giving you many benefits beyond that. Still this kill was almost 4 minutes faster than with Storm ruler on SL1 +0 (I also gotten better at punishing to be fair). If we are talking on a levelled char, the Greataxe is likely going have higher AR at +0 but needs 32 strength

@@bubududugaming8336 yeah, I meant sl1 because I really want to try Friede SL1 NG+7 +0 and I'm thinking which weapon to use (besides Dagger for crits obviously). But I need to check out if I even have BK Sword on this character, otherwise I will need to beat Abyss Watchers and get to Smouldering Lake.

@@suchar7175 I would for sure recommend this weapon over the Storm Ruler if you are confident in your stamina management, i get around 15-20% more damage with this compared to storm ruler and the storm ruler kill I used flynns ring on top of Lloyds, on this kill i couldnt add flynns due to full ring slots.

​​@@bubududugaming8336 tested my ol' reliable Flamberge and I think I'll go with it, this weapon will be especially good for second phase, because Ariandel is very weak to bleed. And difference in AR between Flamberge and BK Sword is only 15, while the only mandatory ring is Hunter's. But BK Sword gotta be my option for no Aux kill someday.

Do you mean the slow stomp he does when going into phase 2? That one does not have a foot hitbox, only a shockwave on the ground that needs to be jumped a little late. Your friend jumped slightly too early I assume but i would have to look at footage

@@suchar7175 okay i looked at the vod, it was for sure an early jump on the stomp and he got hit by the ground hitbox. the timing for it is a bit deceptive, you need to jump when his foot is almost touching the ground again, consistent but later than you'd think

@@bubududugaming8336 I see, haven't fought Radagon for a while but if anything, I was afraid that this attack is going to end the run lol, his hammer slam is much easier to dodge.

Thanks, unfortunately its the only part of the arena thats consistent to fight him on because of the bouncing gravity waves

Yeah I saw that and honestly looks a lot better than what the actual ending of SotE was, wouldnt mind if we got to fight her again instead of Consort 😂 that said I would design the fight to be totally different still, it relied too much on particle spam IMO

@@bubududugaming8336 that's good to hear, I thought I'm exaggarating because I seriously think this modded Boss is at least 10 times better than PCR and you can even backstab her unlike the OG Malenia. There are some attacks in second phase that seemed pretty overtuned, but first phase imo is absolutely top-notch and could easily be one of the best creations across From Software's library. The impact of Mohg on Malenia's moveset, appearance and behavior is especially dope.

I did lose a few attempts to fire bouncing but if you spam roll to the side you minimize the chance of it killing you tbh. I lost at best 5% of attempts to fire deflection. 90% of attempts I lost to not paying enough attention and 5% to the fireballs during his flying attack tracking me weirdly (not sure if this is skill issue). Thanks a lot man but I dont think you will learn more than you already know from this video, scolopendra shows more tricky situations in his kill and how to deal with them 😆

@@bubududugaming8336 oh that fire balls also got me a few times! (And I'm pretty sure that lightning on arena during that attack killed me, I was like "WTH IS THIS POSSIBLE. I THOUGHT IT IS ONLY A VISUAL EFFECT LOL") I always do a jump to avoid fire bouncing, maybe I should spam roll instead. And of course on my RL1 I was at medium equip load, because I wanted to make my build more efficient. Light equip load should make it more safe as well.

@@suchar7175 Its always either the first or second fire ball that can potentially hit you even if you sprint perpendicular to it and I suspect it has to do with your distance to Bayle when he flies off. I asked in the Hitless discord and didnt get a definitive answer unfortunately. And yeah while hes doing that attack there are RNG lightning spawns on the ground which is why you have to unlock and check the ground for it before you roll the divebomb. Jumping to avoid fire bounce might be problematic because the fire is a bullet with a huge radius and im sure it still hits you because you are still vulnerable in your upper 3rd. Medium Load is fine but it makes punishing the phase 2 double talon poke harder from my testing and the roll on the fire breaths and laser are tighter.
