At the time Luftwaffa airmen thought being taken prisoner was the end of the world for them. But it saved them. Many wouldn't go back to Germany after the war deciding instead to stay in Canada or the US.

Bin ein Nachfahre meines Vaters , also der Sohn. Mein Vater war noch in der Luftschlacht um England beteiligt, als Aufklärer. Ich war beruflich ein Jahr in Großbritannien und habe dort immer einen guten Austausch gehabt. Mein Vater hat mir immer gesagt, das man den Sozialismus immer im Auge behalten muss und genau das läuft erneut, in Deutschland. Komme bald zu Euch und würde mich freuen, wenn wir uns darüber austauschen könnten. Wir müssen gemeinsam aufpassen, das dieses Unglück nicht erneut aufflammt, die EU und Deutschlands Politik sind gefährlich. Ich bezeichne das , als intellektueller Deutscher , als das 4. Reich!!!

Mein Vater war damals dabei, also nicht mein Großvater. Er lebt nicht mehr. Allerdings hat er mich gewarnt, das der Nationalsozialismus wieder aufkeimen kann! Genau das, was heute wieder in Deutschland entsteht, durch die amtierende Regierung! Selber war er in einer Aufklärungs-Abteilung, über England. Werde bald nach Großbritannien kommen und freue mich über interessante Gespräche. War schon viele Monate in Großbritannien und kenne die Briten und hatte sehr gute Gespräche, wegen des Themas !

Sehr guter Zusammenschnitt ! Da war mein Vater dabei...bei der deutschen Luftwaffe.... Respekt an die Briten !!! Hat auch mein Vater immer gesagt, der selber Opfer des NS Regimes war. Werde 2024 nach Großbritanien kommen, hoffe das ich paar Leute treffen kann, die aus dieser Zeit berichten können und man sich aus beiderseitigen Sichtweisen normal unterhalten kann. Britische und deutsche Soldaten sind nur Opfer eine Geopolitk, die diese Soldaten nicht beeinflussen konnte, jedoch dafür geopfert wurden.

Британия была буквально на волоске. Перелом в сражении был незначительным. Но Королевские военно-воздушные силы были измотаны до предела и даже больше. За штурвал сажали всех, кто хоть как-то умел самолетом управлять. Если ьы у немцев было буквально на 100 единиц больше истребителей, Британия проиграла бы эту войну.

BF-109 E did not have such engines in the Battle of Britain, and even at the front! This type of engine - English Merlin was on the experimental Bf-109! And their wing consoles are clearly BF-109 F in the second half of the clip. Spitfire 5 is similar to itself, as is Heinkel 111.

Фигня из симуляторов и кино, BF-109 E не имели таких двигателей в битве за Британию, да и вообще на фронте! Данный вид двигателя - английский Мерлин пробывали на экспериментальных Bf-109! Да и консоли крыла у них явно от BF-109 F во второй половине клипа. Спитфайр 5 на себя похож, Хейнкель 111 тоже.
