They would be around that size... but then you have the tail as they seem/look bigger , the male motoro in the 9x4 takes up floor space , I wouldn't want to keep one in anything smaller than 3 foot wide

But saying that I have seen some huge rays , female motors that would not fit in a four foot wide tank , crazy stuff!

In the bato buckets? there's not really any water in the bottom of them , or you mean in the Kratky system? I was looking at doing larger floating beds with air stones once I sort out green houses etc
