Agreed! I like how went it change from the original to your work you used their love theme song. That was a very sweet detail. Even George RR Martin said the writing went to pot after season 2! If they had ended it with her and Vincent dying together with this new woman detective to find and uncover their story as she helps with the baby would have been a better plot than the garbage we got in season 3. Having Vincent narrate while she reads his diary every day would have been nice so Ron could have still been his original character. Not that unrecognizable husk in season 3.

There was a book that was written called Quantum Beast which combined Quantum Leap and Beauty and the Beast. In the book, Sam Beckett leaps into Vincent, he tracks down Catherine and saves her life. Another happy ending--and Catherine eventually gives birth to a daughter too. Now that's a book and an ending I can live with as well!!!

I HATE the way they ended it!

Linda Hamilton wished to leave BATB and that's fair enough but the role of Catherine should (IMO), have been recast to another actress. I think it's safe to say Catherine's passing didn't sit right with many people.

the last season of this ruined it! I think I would have preferred it if they had left it un finished. Yes it's annoying when they do that but better to do that than the way they ended it.

It would have been awesome if the writers continued this series. Though it wouldn't have been the same without Catherine, but her & Vincent's child's story ... It would have been awesome to know what became of little Jacob❤ Please Please writers, continue the series after 30+ yrs....❤❤❤❤❤

I loved this story "Beauty and the Beast" it just kills me that StartTV took my wonderful "Beauty and the Beast" off at 5am every morning 🌅 I am so upset and unhappy about the fact that StartTV took it off. It's just not fair!!

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH EVERYBODY. I WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING NEW TO ADD, BUT I’M AS SAD AS YOU ALL THAT THE SHOW ENDED. ESPECIALLY THE WAY THAT THEY ENDED IT. IT WAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY. THE 2 COULD OF HAD THEIR SON, AND FINALLY GET THEIR HAPPY EVER AFTER. 😞♥😞

I watched this series in the 90’s, but not all the episodes. I just watched the first 2 seasons, and the kiss on this episode caught me off guard 😂😂

Thank you for making this video! This is my favorite episode. I'd been watching this show since I was a young kid, in the 80's. Loved this show. But I still can't believe how horribly they ended the series. I don't ever watch past Season 2. I like to pretend that season 3 never happened, at least not the way that it did. This show could use some good fanfic to fix what they did to it.

B&B was just gorgeous. A unique piece of television art we'll never see again.

Vincent was so majestic. It wasn't just what he said, it was his voice; so calm, so soothing. THAT VOICE!!! It could calm down a crying baby. He and Catherine are what made Beauty and the Beast a beautiful series to cherish for years to come.

The memory of this show will always be in my heart. I was a child back home in Iraq my family could not wait for this to come on on TV. I still remember it sitting all around and waiting for it to start 😢

I loved this show. It did deserve a happy ending. Like in reality there are very few happy endings. I just pray that I can have a happy ending as I leave this world as a good man.

When I was a teenager this show was one of the things that taught me what true love really is all about. We all want love that is deeper than only the physical, although, this is how to have that in a much more meaningful way.

This is giving me that old 80s Phantom of the Opera series vibes. Though Those movies/ series were a little cringey and -Toxic asf- , I like the calm , relaxing soft ambience those 80s Dark Fantasy movies had. The echoing of their voice, trickling of water, rustling of their clothes. Movies were Art back then .

I know Linda Hamilton wanted to take time off for her baby because she was pregnant, they could have taken that time brought her back and not killed her off. I didn’t feel like beauty and the beast should’ve ended that way.
