A few months ago I began a collaboration with Dan Laffan, an artist and potter. Dan wanted to showcase the possibility of the pottery wheel and how one can 'make music on the wheel'. He saw the wheel as a tool to make original art and wanted to help encourage people to push themselves and try more challenging techniques. Slowly, we began to organically map out the kind of video we thought might work. We had many late evening discussions to make sure we got it right.
