The Darkest COD Game and honestly my favorite one :) the gritty tone of it and the dark war vibes is what makes this game brutal the menu is creepy in itself because it shows how insane the war was!

I’m in love with the atmosphere of this music. The strange thing is I always thought that I heard this music somewhere else even before this game. turns out there’s an Arabic historical series about a man named Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi and in this series scary music always plays in scary scenes that look exactly like this one although The series was produced in 2003. I wonder if they copied it from the series because it looks so similar to the series

The only thing I miss in this game is German perspective. To told this war in a proper manner you need to look up at the perspective on the force that started it all to understand this war properly. Because humans were on the two sides and on the two sides were monsters and killers that pushed others to do as they say.

It’s 2008, you go to school, your buddy tells you there’s an unlockable game mode called Nazi zombies. You go over to his house and flip the fuck out. You’ve now entered the twilight zone. Every zombie scream, every little sound is getting to you. You look around and see nothing but grey. You start hearing this breaking sound from the left speaker.. suddenly as you go over to check it out, you see a fucking zombie coming. You start shitting bricks, you kill the first zombie and the second, the 3rd got you. As you sit there contemplating what just happened, you can’t help but be enamored by what you just saw.. you start the match up again but this time you are determined to make it past round 1. All the mp and campaign is irrelevant. You spend hours daily grinding nacht. Months go by. You get word that a dlc is coming out. You’ve never heard about dlc as it’s a new concept. You’re pissed about spending more, but then you realize zombies has a new map. 50$? Take my money. You load your first match of Verruckt and you become more terrified of the game than ever before…

Never remaster this game with a shit plot and shit characters and crappy references every mission it's not fucking cool

Still my favourite COD of all time. Hands down the BEST sound track of the franchise.

They don't care about the games now like they did. In something as simple as the menu music, you can tell their goal was to give players an unforgettable experience. Now, is all about selling skins. There will never be another CoD like this. I'm just glad we all got to experience CoD for what it used to be.

Even to this day, the vibe of the menu itself lets you know, that this isn't your Fortnite or some other BS with your Snoop Dogg skin, but a game with a very real and sad history lesson. It's gonna get serious and you better be prepared for the misery... bc it will become your deep interest to keep going through the same misery over and over again bc of it's uncensored realness, it's an addiction.
