@@claudiogpm I bought it from aliexpress. You might be able to find cheaper ones on amazon tho. Paying that shipping fee kind of sucks.
Getting a top case is a game changer, especially if it helps you pack for longer trips, or over night stays. If you have your GoPro in a protective adventure case it may cause it to overheat and partially shut down. No problem on going full throttle. Some riders try to use speed to solve all of their riding problems, but that can also cause more problems too. Plus, as a motovlogger I’m not interested in seeing the world at 50-60 + mph. Sorry to hear about the bad seats, but glad the pads are an improvement. One of the best things about a scooter is it’s a good alternative to a car. The shaking you get from braking makes it sound like your bike has an ABS. Great looking road. Looks perfect for a relaxing ride.
@ScooterwolfsMotovlog Yea, and even with all the cons I stated, this bike is still a good deal here, and I don't regret at all. It's been perfect for what I need. My gopro is not in a case, but I always had problems with it. This time, It's more than usual. Maybe it's time for me to replace it Having a top case would be so helpful, and I am currently looking for something that would look good in the bike.
@@TorieMoto-by9bl what model GoPro are you using? Are you working with an external mic? I’ve heard the set up for that can cause problems. Hope everything works out.
Great looking bike. How did it feel on the gravel road? Too bad about your speed/odometer, but that’s typical for most scooters. What camera are you shooting with? Chest or chin mounted? Full face helmet? Your mic placement sounds good. Lots of tar-snakes on that sketchy road too. Great view. What’s the lake you stopped at? Nice save with the turtle. I did the same a few days ago in my town.
@ScooterwolfsMotovlog on gravel, it feels normal, tires are actually pretty grippy. I am using the gopro 8 on chinmount with the mic in my full face helmet. Man I don't know the name of that lake, but it's in east Hadden, CT.
@@TorieMoto-by9bl Connecticut is really beautiful. A fellow rider and motovlogger - Lone Wolfer Garage - lives in Connecticut. Lots of great roads for riding. The GoPro 8 is a good camera, but all action cams have flaws or problems, we just have to learn to work with, or around them.
I've had several motorcycles and 3 scooters in the past. I love the power of motorcycles and their naked design, easy to tweek or adjust something. But, I love the convenience of twist and go and belt-drive of a scooter and not having to clean and lube a chain every 300-500 miles; it gets old fast. I am now thinking about buying another two-wheeler, but I'm debating whether I want a motorcycle or a scooter. That's why I watched this video. This Lifan scooter it sure is nice looking, but man, so many plastic panels to have to deal with when maintenance time comes around. And I must have a rear rack regardless which type of two-wheeler I get. Lifan bikes are great deals. Thanks for the video. Let us know if you find a rear rack that will fit your scooter.
@JeffBassir-lo6zj It's been awesome to ride with and just what I need. Regular maintenance has been pretty easy. Time will tell if I'll need to do something major, but based on other owners reviews, these things are lasting a long while.

Trying to decide between a few cheap models and this one looks better quality and it has a decent amount of power.
Lifan is comparable in quality to an 80s Honda. Because Lifan used to make bikes for Honda and they still own the machinery and license the engines.
The Lifan KPV=12.3HP Has Less Power Than The Honda ADV 160=15.8HP. There Is A Better Version Sold In China Called The KPV PRO That Has A 4V Design That Comes With 16.3 Hp, It & Its Sister Brand Paifang AKA Pi Moto's Gravity 150 Are The Most Powerful 150CC Scooters Available. Importers Don't Do Any Research So They Bring In The Worst That China Has To Offer & All The Good Stuff They Overlook. Mainly Because The Good Stuff Is More Expensive & They Won't Make As Much Money Back When They Go To Sell.
Honda ADV150 costs 4400 base in the US. Lifan KPV150 costs 2900, and US riders seem happy with the quality and reliability.
Great review! Looking forward to more (Subbed). I've also been interested in the Honda ADV 160.. But here in Cali, they're 3k+ more on the used market. Hard to find at dealerships, and when you do.. they'll charge thousands more than MSRP ($4.5K)
Yea exactly what drew me away from the ADV. Lifan actually has a good history in Europe and Asia but they're new to the US so there isn't a lot of info out there. Hopefully it lasts!
I own an ADV 160 and its an amazing scooter. Ive had Lifan Mopeds before and the engines are great, I'd love to try this little scooter. It looks like its trying to copy some of the ADV styling.

Thanks! I am still in the break in period so not pushing it too much but I will start pushing it a little more in the following weeks once I get more miles on it.
