Hi Paul I know you sometimes you mention fishing I was wondering do you just fish of the barge or of the towpath. I had a holiday on a barge somewhere years ago and was told you can fish anyware if you are sat on the barge but to sit on the towpath you require permission of the fishing club that has the fishing rights 😊

Love watching you both, I can understand the feeling of being cooped up in the marina, but at least you got the jobs done. Now you are free again for us to see your journey xx

This episode reminded us of when we were near Aynho, on the Oxford canal, many years ago. Our two sons were into Neighbours, the aerial (yes, it was that long ago!) needed adjusting . . . and you can guess what happened. He went right under, and it was extremely muddy, but somehow he managed to pull himself up and out. Our boys told every boat that passed what their dad had done! The canal in Winter is as wonderful as in the Summer, but different, you might want to change your gin to rum or scotch 😉 Thanks for the never disappointing vlogs, keep em coming!

Wonderful. I especially liked the pictures with the music, quick firing and yes what a lovely day on the boat. I had my jumper on the wrong way round the other day as well, didn’t feel right so I stripped off and turned it around, the man walking his dog in the field gave me a lovely smile when we passed ! 😅

If you have the power to run a microwave you can wash your jars then microwave them for 1 minute to kill the germs :)

It would be good for others if you stated cost of the install, cost of the battery?? how you are charging from the engine as lifepo4 will pull everything your alternator can give until the bms cuts off the batteries, what protection is in place, have you a single alternator via a vsr or dc to dc charger??? certainly not sure you want to run the lifepo4 to 0%!!! Most suppliers state 80% SOC??
