Its hard to think about the twin towers but they we’re more then office buildings to me. They were like structures the world has never seen before and the heart of my favorite city in the world I also saw the twins being built and I saw them rising higher and higher into the bright blue skies of Manhattan. I saw the site in 1973 the first year it opened and a couple other times in my life. Now when I go to the site now it feels like a whole new world in fact it doesn’t feel like New York it doesn’t look like New York anymore now. It feels like the New York I know by heart is hiding somewhere but at the same time I know it’s a destroyed masterpiece that just simply can’t be replaced and now I have to deal with the new New York City. Rest In Peace to all those lives that were unfairly ended by evil. And let us all never forget what they took from us on that day that turned from day light to an endless void of darkness and tears
