A moment during a battle in Space Empires V. I paused the scene to show how the reduced scale ships, finer beams and shading to range rings can make battles quite cinematic. Even with large numbers of ships in tight formation, 'rising' does not become a problem and actually adds a nice sense of 3D to the scene.
