W T F! Talk about a UFO. Unidentified Frisbee Object! My 87 has been in storage for 20 yrs.....I don't remember seeing this. Is it spoken of on the forums? Im curious to the official GM name. Is this a manual car or Auto? It obviously would be used for inertia rotation, but that's done on flywheel or flex plates, unless this was for harmonics in addition to the balancer. Is this thing for real?🤔

Car Spectrum, I would tell you a really weird story about a C4 Corvette. Once upon a time, a female child was gonna to take a C4 Corvette to school but the Corvette suddenly felt a thick and tight stomach. Apparently, the child's friends also took their Corvettes to school. When the children were doing fine motor skills, 5 of the Corvettes were having a chat. The Z06 said ''I remember when I was sick, I had this frolic in my abdomen and my abdomen swelled and swelled.'' The C3 said ''How serious!!!'' Apparently, the C5 said ''My driver falling out of me frightens me!!!'' Then, the C2 said to the C4, ''Jewel, when I get into an accident, my driver get scared and then I got scared.'' Then, The C4 said ''It wasn't you, Jasmine, sometimes your driver crashes. You just have to---'' She groaned with pain. Jasmine said ''Jewel!! What's wrong with you?!'' The C4 said ''It's nothing.'' Then she said ''Really.'' Jasmine said ''Hey, who's that C6 over here?'' The C4 said ''It's Lake. She's a really beau---'' She groaned with pain again. 8 hours later, it was hometime for the children and the Corvettes. And that's it. That's the end of this story.

In my opinion the 90' C4 is the best of both worlds with the new interior and classic exterior 👍

If you just put that on a stock engine you won't notice a difference ( and the difference is at high RPMs) but if you do a good highflow exhaust system and the airfoil you WILL notice a difference! It's a mod that doesn't do that much by itself! I remember back in the 90s I seen a test of these and it DOES increase CFMs!! And actually makes a difference when you do the exhaust! Getting more air in and more exhaust out!! Don't listen to anyone in this thread! They have absolutely no clue! I've put one on every LT1 I've ever had!! Including the one I have now! I actually can't speak for the L98 but on the LT1 absolutely. And i also used the Holly airfoil not that one.

Your 89 has my favorite color combo. I love dark red metallic on saddle leather, beautiful. My dream vette is a C4 ZR1 (The wider rear end gives a little more muscular presence) with the same color combo, dash and interior as your 89. And to top it off, the 90's saw blade wheels . It would be a lot of work switching interiors, but I think it's possible. I just need the cash. 😄

Yeah I have a 1990 l98 when it was stock in Arizona I don't think that it was elevation corrected or they did sea level not sure 220 horsepower horsepower and torque was about 280 and my quarter mile times were 14-4 in the quarter mile and running the 700 what about the same mods as yours did have cats just thought I'd be some helpful information

Sorry, but the chrome wheels on both cars are hideous. Reminds me of wearing a huge gold chain & medallion. A natural finish would look much better.

Beautiful corvette! I own a 85 corvette it was a black corvette somebody painted it red. It is a faded red soon to be black again. I also have a 94 black rose coupe with both tops I love driving this corvette. The 85 turned into a unforseen project but I'm not giving up and don't plan to..great talking to a fellow c4 owner.

It doesn't work.. To a my C4 L98 brothers save you money, and swap in LS motor. The L98 is great for low end torque, but at 4,800 rpm it falls flat on its face..Big time...Aftermarket TPI are rare to find, when you find them the price is more that a LS motor.

At a lofty 4,600 RPM! That's the TPI intake doing its thing.

I bought a 2000 Monte Carlo SS brand new. It was a really nice car for most of it's life - it had more than 240,000 miles on it by the time I retired it a couple years ago. Black exterior with gray interior almost exactly like yours. The 3800 engine will go forever and run well too. I liked the car alot and still miss having it. The only problem was the salt on the roads from our Wisconsin winters eventually led to lots of rust. I'd still be driving and enjoying it if the car held up longer. Good memories.

My 2019 ZO6 has 2 cracked rim at 14k miles no pot holes and easy driving. When I can’t keep tire pressure I’ll go for the C7 ZR1 rims which don’t have that issue.
