Jimi Hendrix used a blond Fender Telecaster on Purple Haze and Fire Thats proven. Other songs Where he used a Telecaster are Hej Joe ( rythm part) and Then Crosstown Traffic, Little Wind and Gipsy boy. The first 3 songs are proven to be Telecasters ( Purple Haze Fire and Hej Joe) the other 3 are very long standing rumours. The first 2 albums Jimi used a Gibson SG to record. Jimi Started his career in 1959 but it took untill late 1966 to get his first Stratocaster. Even albums Where he recorded most parts with a Stratocaster had songs using other guitars like The Gibson Les Paul, The Gibson V, Gibson SG and the Fender Telecaster.
