Why didn't you buy a usb to type c voltage step down adapter
Don’t really need that in this instance. The laptop uses 19v input.

That's very impressive. I spent a while looking for a good laptop that fit all of my needs for work and couldn't find one that wasn't over $1,000 that had a Type C Charger. This is a great video, i may try this on a old laptop just to see if i can modernize it. Would it be possible to wire up one of these to add Type C Data transfer function to a laptop? Lets say i already added 1 to charge my laptop, can i use a separate one to swap out a USB A to USB C or where these only made for Power delivery?

Do they make one that can be set to 19V?
Most 19V laptops can actually handle a 20V input without issue. Do your research, of course. You generally can't request 19V from a USB-C source as that is not usually a supported voltage.

Nice job!, I also use a Lenovo laptop but as a desktop, so far (after 10 years of use) no problems with the barrel jack.
How to get to the uconsole discord. Trying to get to those hidef pics of the wiring. The discord link says it’s expired. I don’t frequently use discord but is finding a working link really the only way to join a group? That seems very backwards to me. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Want to do this to mine when I get it. Don’t have electronics background but I can solder and just need a wire routing map/schematic to follow.

If you order it without a cm4 or 4g adapter it should come much faster.
Another good idea to mod a uconsole when i get one to make it perfect to my intended uses.
what screw did you use for the upper 3d printed antenna mounts. the screws that came with are to short.
If I remember correctly they are size m4

These are the antennas i used: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076SGTMFS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They're just 2.5Ghz antennas but using one for 4G is a way better improvement then the stock antenna. Yea it was. BUT, Some people don’t know that there’s an alternate operating system for the uConsole. Running sudo apt install sdrpp won’t work on the default OS provided by clockwork.

Can you share the files to print the two antennas? My cellular doesn't pick up at all with the built in antenna.
No problem. www.printables.com/model/735257-uconsole-micro-antenna-02-mount You will need to mirror the STL in your print software to get a bracket for the opposite side.
I did not mod my board for the SMA. I ground it down to fit in between the board. What OS image are you running. I have had issues getting a good image.
I used the latest bullseye image from the forum.

Before I ordered mine (a month ago) they said it will take max 3 months to deliver... I bought a gameshell (delivered four days ago) and waiting on the uconsole...

How fast is it surfing the web, do pages load ok? I want to use it for Pico8, does it type ok on the keyboard?
Keyboard is nice to type on but very clicky. The cm4 loads most things snappy when using the newest builds from the forum. The only issue I've had with it is loading RUclips. for some reason the site loads super slow. but after the page is loaded, videos play fine in 720p quality.
Try double sided sticky foam to raise the antennas off the metal. The trackball is bad for vertical movements and prevents me from using it all the time.
try rotating the trackball assemblage 90° if you get frustrated like i did; it helped
